I especially liked when you said God has blessed us just to be alive. That would apply when Deer season is closed and the Catfish are not biting. Thanks.
I got some experience under my belt and I can confidently say you can never learn to much about one subject and he definitely has new knowledge every video. Well done
Agree 100% that you don’t need to “review“ products before using them! Try them out and share what you’ve found out, good or bad. That’s the only way reviews are really useful. Woke up this morning wondering what I’ll do when my summer blue catfish pattern breaks down with cooler weather. I haven’t gotten to listen to your fall transition advice but it’s super timely and I can’t wait to hear!
That all makes great sense. Thank you. I caught a 6lb channel this morning at Wylie. I’m always on the bank at the McDowell preserve where they park the police boats at. Thats where I chase my ghosts. I just love that spot. But there’s some big cats around that area. Again I was using shrimp. Just an update. Great video.
Just wanted to drop by and say thanks for your videos. Put everything I’ve learned watching your videos together and with a little learning on my own was able to put my dad on his PB (by far) 23.5 lb blue cat this weekend! Watching him real that beast in and the joy I saw made my year! Keep the videos coming!
Small Shrimp mixed Strawberry jello in a Ziploc bag working great for me on the banks it has slowed a little seems better in the day when night time comes they seem to slow down a little and stop by late night say 1030-11 pm. Glad to hear good times are coming come on fall
i just ordered some santee rigs already set up off amazon they got here the day before a tournament watched the delivery progress all week and got sick so couldnt fish the tournament. will probably go out tomorrow and try them out.
I can not find catfish at the lake to save my life 😑 trying to bank fish and its literally nothing but huge groups of turtles that eat bait like Paranas. Ive tried big bait, small bait, live bait, cut bait, chicken breast, chicken livers, night crawlers and stink bait.
Yeah fishing on the OH River and other places have been tough this year. It could just be the heat and lack of rain so I think the big hawgs are have just been sluggish. You almost have to throw the bait right in front of their faces. Good news is catfish season is extending since we’re getting into cooler weather
I enjoy watching and learning from you share on TH-cam. I have a channel catfish pond and I recently experimented with a new bait. I’ve never heard of anyone who has tried or used this, but the catfish definitely liked it. I bought a package of Caitlins. Some I left plain and some I added dry kool-aid. The catfish went crazy over it and it stays on the hook very well. Why don’t you give it a try , I’d like to know what you think!
My computer auto corrected with the wrong word. The bait I used was chitlins, also referred to as chitterlings, aka, pigs intestines. They work really well
Thank you for the info. This maybe why I was struggle to fish them a few weeks ago in Sept. I was trying chicken livers and nothing was happening. I spend a lot of time on Wateree areas where we were tearing them up seemed to be desolate.
I'm gonna be looking for other videos on it, but ever see those rods with what looks like a pulley on the tip? Would that be beneficial to a catpole? Also any good cat poles out there with those bright cork handles I'm a sucker for looks
I've been fishing every weekend for the past 2 months.Haven't caught anything but maybe malaria and I've tried all different Bates and Set ups I'm just a terrible fisherman
Agree with dieter on location. I’m not sure about the Mississippi River but I’ve fished the cooper river in lower SC. I can speak from experience that the catfish will migrate up and down the river. At least you are out fishing. Keep after them, you’ll find them.
I especially liked when you said God has blessed us just to be alive. That would apply when Deer season is closed and the Catfish are not biting. Thanks.
Amen! I love fishing but we’re blessed even when we can’t get on the water.
Dieter I appreciate the approach you use in your videos. Built for the basic fisherman trying to learn and get better. Hats off to you sir!
Thank you! Yes, I think there are a lot of people out there who want to learn and this is a great platform to spread positive information.
I got some experience under my belt and I can confidently say you can never learn to much about one subject and he definitely has new knowledge every video. Well done

Great video. Unfortunately here in Michigan it’s still in the 80s and boats are everywhere looking for salmon.

Same here in Nebraska. Can't find the big cats this year for anything.
Drought may have something to do with it.

i just noticed you have 100k subs man congrats
Thank you!!!!!🙏
Looking forward to being over there end of September for 2 weeks be on ker and Gaston
You should catch a toad on one of those lakes
I wonder if the water temperature could slow down the release of tannins from leaves and limbs or if warmer water speeds up the release of tannins
Great question!
Product reviews should be done after you have reviewed it. Not upon receiving it.
The cats are biting on Oologah Lake. Oologah is in the heart of the Cherokee nation. Come here cat assassins!
Dieter you rule. Quality content. Respect.

That is called a roller tip rod. They are generally used offshore fishing where wind-on leaders are needed.
@DieterMelhorn Thanks for the info,
OBEY
You’re brave for using the word “transition” in the title nowadays
I've been fishing every weekend for the past 2 months.Haven't caught anything but maybe malaria and I've tried all different Bates and Set ups I'm just a terrible fisherman
It is likely WHERE you are fishing and not how you're fishing,....
@DieterMelhorn I live in Davenport Iowa right on the Mississippi river.
Agree with dieter on location. I’m not sure about the Mississippi River but I’ve fished the cooper river in lower SC. I can speak from experience that the catfish will migrate up and down the river. At least you are out fishing. Keep after them, you’ll find them.
It's your location, depth, muddy bottom, Rocky bottom, etc. Keep after it. Experience is the best teacher.happy tight lines.
You're due. Stick w the creek mouths. Works here on the ohio.
? Do u fish up north
Leaves fall in that time
😮
