Muhammad Aurangzeb, the current Minister of Finance of Pakistan, has been named in the Dubai Leaks. According to the leaks, Aurangzeb owns a luxurious apartment in Dubai's iconic Burj Khalifa, which he purchased through an offshore company.
The leaks revealed that Aurangzeb's company, "Aurangzeb & Company (Private) Limited", was incorporated in Dubai in 2015, and he is the sole shareholder and director. The company owns an apartment in Burj Khalifa, which was purchased in 2016 for AED 4.5 million (approximately USD 1.2 million).
Aurangzeb has denied any wrongdoing and stated that his company was established to manage his family's business interests in Dubai. He also claimed that all taxes and duties have been paid on the property.
