I love La Mer after recently trying one of their kits. It is, as you say, healing. I enjoy the scents which are fresh but not overpowering; their cleanser smells like the most retro soap. Thanks for your recommendation!

the Dior Prestige line has some really standout products. Not all of them, but some are just super special. My favorite is the La grande masque - the oxygen mask (it is it, if I could only keep one). Man, that line is outrageously expensive, though.
Yes your skin looks awesome. It is also the right routine: getting enough sleep and fresh air, working out, eating well etc. And of course good skincare 👍🏻
I’ve followed you for a while, and I love your expertise on skincare. The only thing that makes me really sad is how expensive the cle de peau cream and the dior serum. I am very into skincare, but I could never afford or even defend using this amount on face creams.
I never get sick of videos like this, I just love 'em. What I saw a great deal of in 2023 was a disappointing number of content creators who turned their channels into giant infomercials. Gone were the well-rounded reviews and personal critiques, stories, intimate reviews (for better or for worse), the GENUINE enthusiasm about a new find and so on. Now, all these channels seem to do is come off like Adderall gobbling hustlers, hawking products for any company who pays them. I don't make New Year resolutions as such, but I think I will consciously avoid those channels. It's so disappointing and may be hard in a few cases as I've been loyal for years, however it's important to have principles in life-- and it makes way for me to welcome new content creators into MY 2024. I love your channel Michele and I hope you'll keep making content I thoroughly enjoy and respect. 🤞

@zingzing_quinnell ...thank you for the wonderful information on your skincare routine - especially the information on the products that you use with your eczema. I have very (very) mild experiences with eczema like skin outbreaks ...but it runs in my family. I am passing this information on all the products that you use to my sister and niece that have the real struggle. Additionally, I will be get them a set (they can split it to start :) of the La Mer Moisturizers and Treatment Lotion. Oddly, knowing that you too deal with skin sensitivity issue makes me trust your recommendations all the more :)

Hello Michelle I was very surprised to hear the news of what this video was about and I'm interested I watch you frequently and I see what you use and I always wish I could afford to buy some of the things you use especially skin care I'm recently 56 I just got over a battle with stage four terminal cancer in 2020. It was rough they gave me nine months and that was rough it was a rough time I was a hair stylist and makeup artist and had to give up my craft and could no longer buy any beauty products cuz all my money goes towards keeping me comfortable at home because but I'm in remission now and chemotherapy just ravages your body your looks my skin has aged tremendously in the three years four years I've been sick it's rough for me to look in the mirror I really want to get some sort of a facelift but I can't afford that I'm on disability $500 wow I could buy some products that you use and try them out that is a dream of mine and it has been for a while just a little note about me that's all I enjoy you and I enjoy your content I respect you think you're very knowledgeable but like I said I'm unable to afford what you can and I always wish someday I'm going to be able to buy so those are my thoughts thank you for being so generous and whoever wins is very lucky and I am happy for them I just want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy I'm alone for Christmas but I have my TH-cam and so I watch a lot of mishmas😊. I can’t remember which of your video I watched first, just that as usual I did a search on a product hoping to find decent reviews, your video popped up and I was really impressed by how you basically answered most of questions and concerns, I think I subscribed then and there. Since then you’re my go-to whenever I needed “answers as well as recommendations; in addition to your insightful reviews and around the same age, I also use you as a shade reference…bonus.
I love makeup but skincare is utmost important to me, I also use many of the brands you use, so I’ve always look forward to your skincare reviews and recommendations and this one did not disappoint, as usual. I’ve been eyeing the Cle de Peau Synactif cream, couldn’t pull the trigger because it’s pricy to just take a chance….after watching this video I’m sold, I’m gonna get it. 😊

I have exact the same devices, but struggle to know when to use it (in between, in the morning, can I use all three simultaneously, what to choose first?).. also all products have their own gels, serum. Do you use it? I appreciate your reply!

I agree with you about La Mer cream. I had eczema when I was younger. My experience was the same as yours. (I would also add that it works really well to heal new tattoos.) It will always be with me -- to use whenever I have overdone an active.

And your skin does look beautiful but I also feel it part of an entire way of life and attitude. Like working w your trainer and nurturing self in those ways seems to be reflected through your skin-your aura. I think for all of us there is an emotional and physical aspect to our appearance
Seeing Butters at the beginning by the fireplace makes my heart so happy! I had back surgery Monday, I am miss my dogs. Hopefully I will go home tomorrow! The staff n the Hospital are so nice though.

Hey Michele 💜💜💖 I’m so glad you are doing this video on your skin care. I’ve been having skin issues and I’m desperate to figure out what to do about it, trying eliminating what I eat that could be causing my issues, what I put on my skin, etc. Currently I’m just using La Mer cream and a prescription from a compounding pharmacy and this is somewhat helpful. I’m also taking a probiotic that someone said their doctor recommended and really helped them. So that’s my current journey, I’m so uncomfortable and embarrassed to go out in public. It recently occurred to me that people might think I’m a tweeker. The rosacea is appearing like sores that, to me, look like tweekers sores 😭😭😭 Now I don’t want to leave the house. ANYWHOSITS, sorry to dump all of that on you all, I’m just really going through it right now. .
