My son's is stuck in the M screen like when you first turn the phone on. It won't restart, soft reset or hard rest. It cuts to a black screen when the resets are 10 seconds in.

My phone is stuck on the restart screen all I can see is the M logo. I tried to do the soft reset and the screen went black for a sec then just went back to being frozen. I also tried removing the sim card but it didn't do anything. Before this I kept getting notified that the system ui isn't responding and my phone has been kinda slow. Any idea what I should do? Should I take it somewhere to get it looked at? Any advice would be helpful.

i didnt do anything, i still dont know what was wrong but the problem just kind of resolved itself after my phone powered itself off randomly and when i powered it back on it said it did a software update. so it might have just had an issue updating or something im not sure though. maybe try to see if there are any updates that arent downloading automatically? good luck
