Thanks for sharing this was very useful and practical, I have successfully transplanted from the root but not propagation like this-Awesome my brother- Christopher from Barbados.Great work
Trees That Feed Foundation has distributed over 30,000 root cultured breadfruit trees of the local Jamaican trees, over 30,000 tissue cultured breadfruit trees, and over 30,000 other fruit trees including mango, cashew, guava, pomegranate and more. We love having the variety! Almost at 100,000 trees in the last few years.
Hello! Jamaica already has Yellow (they call it Yellowheart) and four other varieties known by local names. TTFF introduced Ma'afala, Ulu Fiti, Otea, Pua'a and Pii pii'a. Locally the seeded versions are not preferred. Tell us more about your experience with the various cultivars (varieties).
@@kjetvl Hi, sorry for the delay. First I'll mention, unless you're in Hawaii or extreme south part of Florida, breadfruit trees won't grow well. They cannot tolerate cold. Best if you contact Pine Island nursery in Florida for young plants.

Hello sir !! What is the best distance to plant breadfruit tree from each other ?? I Want to plant as a farm !!! With love from Cambodia
10 meters (35 feet) apart. That is the idea. That gives 35 trees per acre or about 75 per hectare.
Delivery you have reply
Congrats, I blew up this vid. Youre welcome, Hawaii.
You mix rooting powder and what??? Did you say white rum?
Yes. The rooting hormone does not dissolve in water. Must be dissolved in >70 percent alcohol. Then it can be diluted with water.
Thank u for sharing
