It was so nice seeing you dress for fall and walk through all the beauty of nature. I live in South Carolina and Helene hit us last Friday. Many of our state still have no electricity and loosing there food due to no electricity. North Carolina has lost whole towns to flooding and mudslides. It is in the 90’s. Kristen, I think I’m all the first three plus caregiver. I took care of my Mama for so many years until she went to glory. I felt like that was my purpose. Now, in our little town in Georgia I like to think I can take care of my sweet neighbors needs. Especially during the terrible aftermath we have experienced of Hurricane Helene. It fills my heart up when I can take them a meal and some water when they have no power and no water. Thankfully, we have a generator And a well and I can cook during the times we are using it. We will get through this. Please pray for us. Thank you.❤🙏🏻

I just read that you should replant your mums when you bring them home. Evidently they are quite root bound when purchased and if you repot them into larger containers they will last longer. When someone says Nebraska I have a picture in my mind of open plains of yellow hay, grass maybe corn and kind of dried our looking and here you are in all your splendor correcting my opinion. I do like to read, journal, quiet times for prayer and meditation.. singing, worship music, love to be creative and contemplative in nature. My favorite times w the lord are early morning watching the sunrise. 🕊️
I kill all my plants! I’m excited to share tho, the gardener gave me instructions on the nuns this year… don’t water the flower part, water down around the stem; don’t let them sit in water; water once a day. I’ve had myna now for about three weeks and so far so good! Hope it helps!

Soak the mums in a bucket of water for about 30 minutes. Then always water them from the bottom. They are root water plants. They will last much longer

FYI I always find that my mums do way better if I replant them in the buckets & old washtub that I use instead of using the containers that they come in. Everything looks beautiful 😊

Soak the mums in a bucket of water for about 30 minutes. Then always water them from the bottom. They are root water plants. They will last much longer
