In this Barry goes back in time to save his mom but the comic opens with him waking up to discover everything and everyone around him has changed. He's not the Flash or does he have any powers. His mom Nora is still alive yet his father died. Captain Cold is Central City's greatest hero, villain of Flash in the comics and the Justice League was never established, Superman himself seemingly nonexistent. Batman does exist BUT it's not Bruce Wayne but his father Thomas Wayne. In this new timeline Bruce was the one who died in Crime Alley with Thomas Wayne becoming Batman and Martha Wayne becoming Joker. Creating Universe: Alot of stuff happens such as WW3 and Flash travels back in time, merges with his earlier self to stop him from saving him mom. While traveling through time, Barry realizes he can see three different timelines -DC (New Earth, Main DC Universe), Vertigo (Earth-13), and WildStorm (Earth-50). These three universes are merged together while 10 years of history were removed from DC characters, which created instead a brand new DC Universe called The New 52. This allowed DC to show these characters young again while also modernizing their origins and just trying something new. This was also DC's 2nd reboot after Crisis on Event Earths from 1985 that destroyed the Multiverse and merged a bunch of worlds together creating New Earth. We have another Flash who seems to be the one from the alternate timeline where his mom is alive but there's also Michael Keaton's Batman who speaks like Barry is own his world. So yeah idk what's happening lol My original thought was Barry creates a new timeline where Meta Humans don't exist only Super Girl who has been locked away by the government. But somehow Barry finds himself in the Burtonverse and recruits Michael Keaton's Batman yet from what I can tell from this trailer Michael Keaton's Batman exists on this timeline!!! So yeah a little confusing at the moment we just know that this film was reboot everything just like the Flashpoint comics.

Box office is overrated, personally I never go by RT or box office to define a quality movie. I do think Avatar is a tad overrated but it's definitely better than Captain Marvel but then so are a lot of movies. I'll take WW over CM any day for heroine films.

I watched the 90's Flash show and the current tv show is alright. This movie looks so damn good im interested in the other actors more so than Ezra. I'm glad this didn't get cancled cause all the other actors put in work
