It’s crazy how hard it is to know that someone you love purely could really behave in such a way towards you. When I love I give my heart, especially to my family. And for the longest I kept breaking my back to accommodate my family member and it was like no matter what I did it wasn’t good enough. And on top of it all would always call me a bad sister. So I felt the need to do all of these things to fit the mold of a “good sister.”
Earlier today before I even knew about this reading we had an issue come up and it hit me what is and has been going on this whole time. I know that she wants to love me in the way I love her but rn it’s evident that she’s not capable of it. Thinking of altering our relationship is painful to me, but the pain of feeling purposefully misunderstood, manipulated and insufficient is worse. So now I’m choosing me. I’m no longer making efforts beyond my means. If what I’m doing isn’t good enough, I pray that someone else will come in and fill that roll for you. Amazingly accurate. And I've known this for months. Beat myself up for not exiting the situation. This is toxic and mentally/emotionally abusive. I know they will not acknowledge it take any responsibility or change. Any boundaries set are ignored or trampled. Been trying to be patient for a good exit strategy. I am catching this video right after the drama that was at my job. A Cancer and a Leo both in cahoots with each other. The Cancer was all friendly to me in the beginning but as soon as I moved up the real came out. My evaluations were bad, I was talked about, etc. They both left on the 24th thinking the grass will be greener.
