I am so proud of this team. Men of faith all, Men of action all. Something to think about, and to be celebrated at the same time. Those two things are rarely combined in today's culture, and it is just what the Astros show to the world. Great game Men, and an example for all.
Notice Fox refused to show the Astros fans cheering for their team in Houston like they did when the Phillies were playing in Houston! The entire network and its commentators seem to have a very anti-Houston bias! But we will overcome their bias since what can’t kill us will only make us stronger! Go Stros!
No-hitter is cool I guess, but Cristian delivered in the most important start of his career so far, which is much more cherished. Still need 2 wins left; it ain’t over until it’s over.
This was the pivot point last year. Down 2-1 on the series, they blew a tight lead late in the game (ironically it was Javier in relief that gave it up), and instead of a tied series, they were down a near impossible 3-1. Absolutely crucial to get that win last night and Javy delivered.
Creo que es una excelente idea, si va a colocar Maldonado de titular es bueno dejar Vasques de bateador designado, mantenerlo caliente en el juego, que continue teniendo oportunidades al bate,no dejarlo enfriar.
I’m all for Vasquez being our DH as well! Or we could go with Hensley! He is better than Mancini and Diaz as well! Diaz swings at too many bad pitches, sometimes pitches that are 2.5 feet out of the strike zone and he still swings at them! Can’t hit if you can’t even reach the ball, right? Which is outrageous!
So the reason you can't do that is because you need Vazquez on the bench to replace Maldy at Catcher if you need to pinch hit for him late in a game. And don't tell me to start Vazquez over Maldy......Maldy has hit way better than Vazquez this postseason, and Vazquez is NOT Maldy behind the plate. He's really good....but he ain't Maldonado. 2 runners stole on him last night and neither throw looked good. Hensley should get the DH spot since he had a hit in Game 3, and has done nothing but put together great ABs since the day he showed up in September
amazing how phillies hit a record homerun in previous game and astros came back and said i'll see your home run record and raise you a no hitter! awesome performance by an incredible team and bullpen. Go stros!!
Kudos also to John Smoltz. He didn't mention the no-hitter even one time until after the game, unlike his broadcast colleagues. Respect protocol, guys!
Great job, Javier! I knew all along you are the Astros’ best pitcher! Should have allowed to pitch game 1! Go Stros! Now Verlander it’s time to get your first World Series game win! You can do it! I have faith in you! Go Stros!
Helluva game by everyone! Absolutely Nails by Javier. If this is the only game I get to watch live in it's entirety during this world series, I'm glad it was this one! I hate that I have to work but it is what it is I guess. To those saying Javier wasn't going to deliver... I informed you thusly! Haha, Let's go Guys! One more in Philly and bring it back to the Juicebox!
Bro.....anyone who told you Javi couldn't do it clearly hasn't been paying attention since like....ever 🤣 Guy has done nothing but dominate since day one! Easily my favorite on the staff, and he is ICE COLD
@@imnotcreativeenoughh Definitely. Like they ain't been watching all season? Definitely showing the wagoners from the true ones. But right now all I'm thinking is Let's go Framber on Saturday!!!
@@C.J.33 I know you prolly didn't see any of the game.....but BRO. MY FUCKING GUY CHAS. 1 out in the 9th, took a double, maybe even a triple away from Realmuto with Harper due up with a leaping catch against the wall. Let's fucking go Framber. FINISH THE JOB
@@imnotcreativeenoughh I was able to catch the game from I think the top of the 8th with 1 or 2 outs. I was able to see Chas's amazing on the wall catch and the Dig and tap that Mancini did. Love the Defense man! When I watched that Chas catch though the only thing I could think was "Be alright, be alright!" Play looked awfully similar to how Jake crashed into the wall before.
Awesome team win! Outstanding pitching by the Astros’ entire pitching staff! Way to shut the Phillies out! Awesome hitting by the Astros hitters as well! Just an awesome team effort! Let’s win again tonight so that we could close out the Phillies in Houston! Go Stros!
Yeah, anybody is better than going with those two guys who are proven duds in the post season! This is why so many people are questioning Dusty’s ability to put in the best lineup for the team to win games! He seems to be reluctant to go with what is working and favoring seniority instead! Which is a very stupid mindset to have!
Home plate and strike zone NEVER change, you either find it, or you don’t - experience has very little to do with it. JV and McCullers vs C Javier and F Valdez…..
I want all of the Astros players to take some serious time to take lessons from Alex Bregman on how to tell between good pitches and bad pitches and to lay off on the bad pitches because it seems to me about half of the Astros’ strike outs come from guys swinging at pitches that are out of the strike zone! This is especially true for Diaz, Yordan, Altuve, Maldy, and McCormick! If they could simply reduce their swings at bad pitches by 50% then I think they could add a couple more runs in each game because by doing that they would force the opposing pitchers to throw better pitches for them to hit and they would walk a lot more, which would only put them in the position to score more often!
Guy wins ALCS MVP, set the table for Yordan multiple times in the LDS, wins ALDS Game 3 with a HR, a gold glove, and had 2 hits last night including one that loaded the bases.....and you're complaining about plate discipline .....I know what you mean.....but it really comes off extremely whiny like the fools who complain about Pressly every time, God forbid, he let's someone get on base..... He also has shown a lot of improvement in that respect throughout the year, and was laying off some absolutely filthy pitches last night, including low curveballs (they were curves, not sliders from Nola), and that base hit? Low curveball.
@@grandwonder5858 oh! It's just that easy! Just don't swing at it! Man.....Astros should hire you as the new hitting coach! Thanks for the hard work regardless.

No worries man we all appreciated greatly what you do 👍👍
great highlights Chili!! didn't notice audio issues
Chili, you're videos are a part of The Astros experience!
Thank you for making them in the first place.
What a performance, Carved in Astros & MLB History Forever‼️
Pressly and Abreu finished the post season with a 0.00 ERA in 10 innings pitched. Monsters.
I knew that,,,,great comment....and the national media never brought it up

The bullpen was insane all post season, gotta be one of the best playoff bullpens ever.
