Yo JB First legends... Mammoths :). Reapers where the first I crafted way back when. If I could go back it would be Mammoths, then Hammerfalls PS for newer players that are using Mandrakes turn your mouse sensitivity right down!
My own recommendation: it depends what blue and purple weapons you already have, and how high you are in level. for example, I wouldn't recommend reapers for anyone below level 30 engineers and 8 in both scavengers and steppenwolfs (you need 10 in scavengers anyway for steppenwolfs) because reapers on a squishy build simply does not work. Mammoths don't really work on 5/6 k builds either, the only one I've seen do really well is the Goliath track one Suslik made. Hammerfalls are a pretty good place to start actually, but you should save your money if you already have a good spitfires build that works well for you. But generally speaking, I would say hammerfalls are a good start, so are harvesters. Dont rush to the Apollo gen because that's really made for max Ps builds. Aegis is also good in some builds, but again, 9k+ builds. I would say stay away from Draco, mandrake, retcher, cyclone, and aspect, for a bit, as they are all somewhat harder weapons to make a build around and use well, as well as requiring many other expensive parts to really make the most out of (purple cabs, hovers, purple modules, Apollo, and heavy armor for Draco's as well as spark, etc) the spark can be a fun addition and hover countermeasure for your low PS shotgun builds, and if you're looking for some seal clubbing action, then i actually recommend fortunes, tsunami, or any of the purple weapon hover builds, such as hover executioner and hover spectre's (using the legendary upgrades for these weapons on hovers raises your powerscore without adding enough to your performance, making it harder to farm exp.) Hurricanes on hovers can be quite annoying but please, just don't be that guy, you're even worse than low ps seal clubbers.
Yes Good good choices but the tsunami's they are really disappointing i have only seen 2 players using the tsunami like they are some sort of godly weapon but that's because they almost never miss a shot.
Well I did some testing and they actually do more damage per shot than the mammoths, that is to say, a direct tsunami hit to the cab will do more damage than from mammoth, the only reason the mammoth sometimes to seem more powerful, is because the mammoth has 50% bigger explosive radius, which is absolutely insane in terms of doing more spread out structural damage to the entire vehicle, so it really comes down to the user's skill set and playstyle, the tsunami is really made for weapon/wheel elimination as well as accurate long range sniping, whereas the mammoth is a face-tank, takes damage and deals damage, bit of a close-mid range tank buster.
FlaminVictini mammoth can reach higher damage with its perk much easier, the tsunami can get even high but only if you sit still for 15 seconds so it’s almost useless CQC
idk about that whole "useless" part lmao. And yes in certain situations the mammoth will maximize it's perk faster and retain it until the target is destroyed, which again goes back to my primary argument, and it is that the mammoth is more for close-mid range tanking while the tsunami is for long range sniping, some people would say the first is easier/ more rewarding and other would say the exact opposite, depends on the player of course. But from my experience with really good players and top clans, sniping from safety, using the chameleon to peak without getting hit, with enough skill is always the best way to eliminate an enemy. Of course however, you can't always avoid being in a close up situation where the mammoths perform much better. my personal opinion is that tsunami's are overall more reliable and more rewarding (despite me hating the play style) but once again, personal preferences.
FlaminVictini tsunami don’t require more skill, they have huge muzzle velocity so you don’t really have to lead, i snipe perfectly fine with mammoths, aim up and lead more.. i’ll take the extra durability and 360 rotation any day, and the perk
I think the best first legendary is something that doesn’t require tons of ammo boxes, can be used alone or with lower rarity versions, and is able to be utilized well at the build’s power score. In my opinion, the best first legendary for any player could be the harvester on a 6k power score build with a few shotguns, or the arbiter with some radiators and an equalizer, or maybe a hurricane with 2 pyres
Hovers are still maneuverable as hell. Just cause they aren't blatantly OP anymore doesn't mean they are bad or anything like that. In fact, hovers are so good that you still see a lot of them at all powerscores, where they usually dominate the battlefield, especially as a lot of maps are open and allow many options and escaping routes.
They don't dominate and they can't outrun you the only edge they have is their strafe speed is fast other than that they are pretty bad i'm not saying it should go back they way it was cuz that was to strong
Awesome video. I liked it. The most important thing you said - it all depends on your playstyle. For me, most loved weapons are shotguns. Though, if somebody offered me 2x Hammerfalls then I wouldn't place them on my vehicle even if they were given for free XD Because I love Spitfire shotguns more than everything - good damage, good durability, can be easily hidden and takes only 3 energy points. Same goes for machine guns - Defenders all the way are my favorite machine guns. The only legendary parts I like are 1) Harvester (already have), 2) Spark (also already have) and 3) Apollo generator (I don't have it now, but I'm working to have it as well).
My first was reapper i played it in low ps and it wad not good idea i had only that onse reapper but everything else was blue stuff... I recommend to get lots of purple stuff so its easy to do seasons and then get legendarys. I have twin reaper and apollo walker with steppe spider and i usually destroy every cannon build i meet... Its all about movement and strafing i just hold the trigger and avoid those cannon shots. (I dont stand still for a second)
hurricanes were my first, then i sold them to get some tsunamis, then after a bit made another set of hurricanes, then sold them again, and now i plan on building them for a 3rd time after im done making a set of reapers
If you want a mandrake, its mandatory to own the lambo cabin, that spread is just *moowah* just great. do NOT get the tsunami, best cannons are triple executioner with collosus, has the best DPS.
In closed beta I tried a lot of legendaries, now i have 2x tsunami, 2x hammerfall, a harvester, a spark, a draco 2x retcher and an apollo. but i'm trying to get all the legendaries at one time. Now I'm farming for the knights to come. After knights ill get back to get my Mamoths :)

Bought a reaper for my first legendary a few months and was completely disappointed, sold it and bought some purple stuff I needed. Now I have a hurricane which I combo with a fat man and currently 4K away from another legendary. Might sell the hurricane and buy two reapers once I have enough.

Not sure how many cm i believe 4 block was like 1 meter or something or 5 blocks was 1 meter. Can't rememeber. As for the mammoth i haven't played it since the last explosion changes but it used to be really good and always scary to face. I perosnally love the mammoths, not really a fan of the tsunami's. also with all these new energy weapons sniping at long range not sure if you want mammoths sticking out of your build. let me play the mammoths a bit and i'll make a video on it so you can see how they perform at top tier.
it should not, y would you need apollo without any rly good gun, I think a cannon or reaper build should be ur first, cause it does not cost that much and its decent.

I prefer slower builds because I have a tendency to travel on roads less traveled. This may be just hubris but I'm filled with pride when I see other people use similar builds to mine like the reemergence of cannon spiders : ) And yes......I know of the specter or god forbid, the aspect hovers. They still give me nightmares and compel me to check under my bed just in case. PS: love your content

Jb im a bit tired of the grind man but my legendary collection is decent x2 reapers x2 tsunami 2 hurricanes an apollo generator and Agies prime I was considering picking up a spark but I don't know haven't been playing recently maby the new event will get me back into it.

Mine was the apollo,i would love a pair of retchers but there sooo expensive on the xbox 11-13,000 coins.but at the same time i cant get away from my triple cricket builds and triple thunder bolts
That was my third i was hoping using one more tsunami would make them work better in a combo but it didn't also damage is worse then a fatman for me i don't like waiting 15 seconds to fire a high damage shot
@@JBRider while moving you can time it to block what would hit you, then you can strip all crickets within 1-2 seconds, only cannon that gives issue is mammoths, I am also talking about full 10k+ builds.
You also have to be very precise, which most people in crossout are not, hence why hovers got nerfed in the first place, noobs with no aim complaining. Lol. No hate but they just don't put enough effort into learning how to lead a target.

Most expensive current Epic item that I've seen is the Elephant hitting a top at 8.8k during the pack's release, which dropped to 2.1k which is higher than the Kapkan at 1.9k. K, by the way, stands for T h o u s a n d s, or numbers with 4-6 digits before decimal places. The lowest and highest values in that range are 1,000 and 999,999.

Yeah you can have the same amount of fun with blue or purples i mostly use purples instead of golds

nope lambo cabin doesn't matter the quantum is fine the spider cabin is the best because you get more mass limit
@@JBRider lambo cabin does effect the spread of the madrakes, instead of being scattered, its more tightly in the blast radius.

Yeah the spikes i also spent a lot on those sadly, now i sold 2 of 3 of them. after the last nerf they are no fun playing anymore.

The Apollo should be ur first legendary. Few situations where something else is more practical than Apollo

Generator is the way I went, first purple and first legendary was generators
Harvesters were my first legendary weapons, and goblins are meta lol not hammerfalls
But what getting the generator first does is put you in matches with people running legendary weapons

I got retchers as my first but now I have mammoth saving up for pulsar
Pulsars are still very strong you'll really enjoy them
Personal preference has alot to do with this aswell.
And the aegis really is useful on hover mg builds, the small time it gives you is enough to strip the guns from the enemy before they can hurt you.
I have have had the opposite experience it's to short i can block one cannon shell that's it i can't even block a full cricket volley
@@JBRider while moving you can time it to block what would hit you, then you can strip all crickets within 1-2 seconds, only cannon that gives issue is mammoths, I am also talking about full 10k+ builds.
You also have to be very precise, which most people in crossout are not, hence why hovers got nerfed in the first place, noobs with no aim complaining. Lol. No hate but they just don't put enough effort into learning how to lead a target.
Remember one thing, even with aegis, the point of a hover is never tanking something, avoid avoid avoid and use aegis in oh shit moments.
