If you are a picker, the VT Sole should be fine. A club with a full, wider, sole could give you something strike issues with a trailing edge that doesn’t offer you any relief.
Would a slower swing player be better off with the ZXi5 over the ZXi4 due to the weaker loft? How much forgiveness do you sacrifice going from the ZXi4 to the ZXi5?
The ZXi4 would still be a suitable option for a slower swing speed. Despite having a stronger loft, which should help with speed and distance, it has a lower CG to help with launch and playability. To your point, ZXi4 is going to be much more forgiving than the ZXi5. Especially in the longer irons.
you guys never mentioned the biggest gimmick of Zxi7 which is the S15C stainless steel and the hosel tech they innovate.....the biggest selling point of this generation is the FEELING of the strike.....disappointed review....
Great video guys! Just found you today and very impressed. Subscribed.
Thanks for the comparison table with the MKII's
Hey I know that guy 😁
Carmen fit me into the ZX7 a few years back!
Is the ZXi4 the same size as the Cleveland Zipcore XL? The Cleveland's are very large
Any word from srixon if a zi forged blade is on the horizon?
Would you recommend the VT Sole for a more shallow player (a picker)?
I'm more of a picker than a digger and I've played them for years. I think they're great for anyone. I play off of 5.8 right now.

Thought on zxi7 vs titleist t150 regarding forgiveness?
Most players will find the T150 to be more forgiving than ZXi7. The T100 or CB would be a closer comparison to the new ZXi.
Disagree. Zx7 MKII was way better and more forgiving than the Titleist irons. I'm sure the new ZXIs are better too
Are the lofts the same as mark II?
Yes, lofts should match model to model.
Third review of guys missing left with these. Very interesting.
Look at the club path and face to path numbers. They tell you why the ball is moving left.
