How can you export the transcript to a text file? The Transcript panel lets me select and the text, but when I try to copy/paste it in a blank text file nothing happens.
Hey! Do you know.. When I remove filler words, certain cuts are too clipped. When I go to restore the word, I keep getting the message that it cannot be restore because there's already a clip in the timeline. Do you know - how can you remove filler words but add a few back in here and there?
You can't change it in the transcript as it's not as captions. Why do you want to change it in the transcript as it is for only visualizing and trimming the scenes?
@@creativesuitetutorials because some words will be good on my script and then misunderstood when captioned , hence why i would want to change the word so that when the word is SAID , the caption matches the words said ….
Captions are different from transcripts. When you add captions, click on any caption and a custom box will appear in the top right side from where you can change captions.

It's there. Now it's present on the tool bar where trim, crop and other tools are present. Just select a clip which has voice, and an transcript based editing option will appear.

Hi, my transcript based editing button is not showing on my pc version, neither in layout nor in menu bar. Any idea why that would be?

I don't have it too. It randomly pops out whenever I open a project. However there's transcript editing as well if you check the CapCut web version 😂

You can take a screen shot and give it to the copilot if the copy paste is not working. Just give this prompt "Extract this text"
That feature is actually available during the Export of the video.

One way is to import the original footage as B roll layer and cut the parts which you want to bring back.

Yes, currently it only supports the English language.

Hello when I go to the layout option, there is no option of transcript based editing. Could you please help me ? Is it about version or about pro ?
It's a free version of the capcut pc, however if you don't see this option, please update it or try using a VPN.
Anyone not seeing the option, need to use VPN in USA for it to show up

Now it appears on the tool bar where trim options are available. Just select your clip and this option will appear

Yes, just change them from captions, no need to change transcript.
