Your hair is beautiful however as a person who relaxed my hair when I was natural this is what you should have done on virgin natural hair.... 1. Please place hair in sections recommended 4 2. Start from mid shaft to ends and then attack the roots as the heat from our head will cause the hair to process faster 3. We neutralalise after washing the creme out the hair to ensure all the relaxer is out then we deep treat preferably a protein treatment or a cholesterol treatment and then condition.

Hey girl, yes so I started applying the Vaseline on my actual scalp a few days prior relaxing my hair. This, for me, acts as a protective barrier for my scalp not to be burned by the relaxer. Sometimes if my scalp is too dry or I’ve scratched it, it’s easier for the relaxer to burn my scalp. They also do say on the instruction manual that we shouldn’t let the relaxer touch our scalps… maybe that’s the reason! Hope this helps ❤️❤️❤️🫶🏾

The instructions do say that, you’re supposed to shampoo immediately not condition your hair first. Different relaxer systems instruct different things but you should aim to neutralise your hair as soon as the processing time is up. This saves over processing your hair and any potential damage.

Hey sis, so I think my hair stayed fluffy for a good 5 weeks and after that I started seeing some hair growth again. I haven't relaxed my hair since this video, I'm planning to do so in February though. I just wanted to give it a bit of huge space before I could relax again, just in case haha
I didn’t wash it or anything. I just applied some Vaseline on my scalp before applying the relaxer. I only used a hair drier once I had washed the relaxer off… I don’t know if this helps…

Mama, you have to rinse off the relaxer first, then shampoo and then condition. If you look at the steps you used step 3 before step 2. This will cause your hair to over process. I love the look though.
