Craig Randall was thinking the same thing. When Phil G had an episode with Fabian, he seemed kinda distant and less engaging, surrounded by his people and super busy. With Matt he’s super chatty and interesting.
Sigma Spurts should start marketing Matt Stephens bobble head dolls. I would buy one in an instant.

Matt was literally walking (and pedalling) in the shoes of Cancellara.
i thought so too, this could easily be called cyclists in bikes getting coffee. But I like the format with Daniel Oss better

@@Sotyred100 I think it has a lot to do with the Charisma and the subsequent Chemistry. Problem was Matt was a centerpiece of the show and his absence and void would not have been easy to be replaced.
The new presenters are doing a decent/good job but lets be real, Matt is Matt and the Trio defined the show and set far too high standards for others to follow.
We were blessed to have him there. His enthusiasm, feel-good ability, spontaneous thoughts and actions, experience and general aura have left a mark.

Matt Stephens is the Louis Theroux of bike documentaries/videos and I mean that with the greatest respect. I love your content Matt/Sigma. Honest, respectful and full of comedy. He's the 'everyman' and that's what makes him so endearing in front of the camera. Superb our kid!
Matt should keep those shoes - he didn't seem to struggle getting clipped in.
What a candid interview with Fabian...that comment about Matt’s son’s studies. He clearly cares, listens and is thoughtful. An absolute joy to watch.
I was lucky to meet Cancellara in person when he came to Los Angeles to the local "Trek" store to do meeting with his fans. That day I noticed hi is really openminded person, he does not have this feeling "I'm a star". He is a normal guy and he behaved like a normal human being. Why Im telling it just to say this is the most honest and open interwiev which I've ever seen. He is so honest and natural. Just like you and me. Amazing video guys. Thanks!
Switzerland is beautiful and Fabian is a great ambassador for his people and his country.
As much as I enjoy the shorter videos, these are a perfect fit for Matt - they just work with his character. Couldn't be happier that he's doing this content in addition to Eurosport commentary.

I’ll admit I started following cycling in the “post-Cancellera” era, but watching old clips of him riding his bike just had a magical charm to it. Then watching this interview... makes me fall in love with this human being. Sad I didn’t get to see him compete, but now it’s time for me to go watch all the old clips of him.

The algorithm suggested this series to me a few weeks ago and I have been really enjoying it, I'll normally watch an episode while on the trainer and I think this one was my favourite yet. Fabian was the man back when I was watching racing and it's nice to see how good of a guy he appears. As a side note, the video editing that had the voice overlay while the espresso being made was absolutely top notch!
ONE PACK.....so funny and real.....really nice to meet these icons of the cycling world, AWAY from that world. Usually, we only see their serious, game faces, focused and determined. Thanks again, Matt. More please......

Matt is one of the reasons I now use Sigma Sport for my bits, I do use others but wouldn't have known about their excellent service without links to the vids that he's doing. Great content and the best sense of humour and comedy timing :-)

I just started following pro cycling about 3 years ago more closely. He is the one guy I would have wanted to see racing. This guy clearly was a one of the greatest.
