Hello, the pieces shown are made out of metal clay. The JOOLTOOL can be used on both metal and metal clay, as metal clay becomes metal when fired. Thanks for watching!
I live in Connecticut!!! I'm seriously considering buying the metal clay, JoolTool and other items from Cool Tools. I want to start working with sterling silver, and this seems like a good place to start. However, I have a concern with the grinding. I think a mask should be worn as you do not want to breathe in the fine particles of silver dust. There's lots of dust on that machine. Do you have capabilities for water grinding? If not, it might be a good idea to come up with a water grinder so you don't have to breathe in the silver particles. Just a thought! I look forward to seeing Lisel's other videos here.
Hi Mikaela, we are so happy to hear you are considering to start working with sterling silver! A mask is always a good idea when working with the JoolTool. Yes, water grinding can be done... Simply add a small dish of water and continually dip your piece as you sand/grind. Thank you for the comment!
Do you have a UK distributor? Or a 220/240V version? Certainly looks like a useful addition to the workshop.
Are the pieces you show in this video made from clay or are they metal? Can you use the same Jool Tool on both mediums?

Yes you can use all types of Metals on the JOOTOOL. Thank you ❤️
Can you skip tumbling when using the JoolTool?
Hi Laura, yes, because JOOLTOOL is a polishing tool, you do not need to tumble if you would not like to. Thanks for watching!
