어느 순간부터 예린이 파워풀한 보컬곡을 부르면 항상 "예전 창법" 이라고 하시는 분들이 많은데, 예린 창법은 예전과 달라요. 이건 옛날 창법이 아니고 그냥 현재의 창법으로 훌륭하게 소화해 낸 다른 버전입니다. 예전에는 목과 배의 압력을 세게 주어서 바로 귀에 꽂힐 정도로 밀도가 높은 고음을 냈지만, 요즘에는 고음에서 조금 더 음을 편하게 낼 수 있도록 비강을 열어서 소리를 내요. 'ㅔ' 발음을 할 때 확실하게 차이가 느껴진답니다. 워낙 발성이 탄탄한 실력자이기 때문에 이렇게 노래를 불러도 코맹맹이 소리가 나거나 하지 않고, 고음을 부드럽고 듣기 좋은 소리로 낼 수 있어요. 예전에 15& 시절 불렀던 irreplaceable 을 들어보시면 차이를 느끼실 수 있을 겁니다. 이 어려운 곡을 10년이 지나서도 이렇게 스킬풀하고 능숙하게 소화해내는 예린은... 정말 천재예요
