I broke a bone to and like the amount of pain you go through like you sometimes have trouble sleeping at night just makes me want to yell 'what is wrong with you'. The idea that sometimes you may need painkillers just to numb it off not to mention accidentally getting addicted is so infuriating to me
Glad to have played a small part in your decision to make this thought provoking video, great to hear your opinion as an orthopaedic surgeon. I think we’ve got a way to go before we see cosmetic cardiac procedures…but you never know. And thank you for your original video in the first place! Rohin
Such a small world. recently i started rehabilitation for a Female patient aged 54 who did limp lengthening surgeries, not because she had leg discrepancy issue but because she wanted to become simply taller. To be precise from 159 to 168 CM. She did 4 surgeries, 2 on the femur and 2 on the tibia. which introduced all sort of problems and complications such as very short hamstring and ballerina heal. she's been dealing with rehabilitation and after effect of the surgeries for about a year now. I always wanted to ask her if its worth it or not but personally i wouldn't dare as its not my job as physical therapist. Unfortunately we are having issues here in turkey, specially with "health tourism" being the main stream reason why people are visiting Istanbul from all over the world, obviously due to cost. I really hope these aesthetic surgeons are informing the patients with all the details before committing to the surgery, but i doubt they share the whole truth because of reasons aka "Money!" anyways thanks for the video Doc i hope it reaches many people

I'm 5 feet tall and I have never thought of getting something like this done. It's part of who I am. Also after haveing a bone graft in my knee I can only imagine how much worse this would be.
About 6 or 7 years ago, I heard about a girl who did the procedures to lengthen her legs, and apparently her legs kept breaking whenever she ran, horrifying. I totally get why people would want to take the risks and go through the surgery.
Aside from body dysmorphia, speaking as a man who is 5'5: Social Media and other societal standards portray short men as unattractive, less masculine and less likely to acquire higher positions within organizations. Being cast aside for something we have no control over feels the worst. Your weight, skin quality in regards to acne and other blemishes, etc. can be controlled by diet and exercise, but height is generally genetic and cannot be changed naturally when growth plates are shut. People will say that confidence and personality matters, but those are outliers. my best advice to other guys out there that have experienced this is just to live life the best you can and do what makes you happy. becoming a CEO or landing a girlfriend isn't the only purpose in life. if it happens it happpens, but don't hurt yourself through surgery over it.
Yeah, you can probably also start your own business one day if CEO is that important to you, or date somewhere where your height is considered average or above. May take some creativity but gosh 80k lots of pain and potential complications just don't seem worth it. This video also didn't talk about the fact that everything else, such are arm length, will remain the same. So yes you can be 3 or 6 inches taller but your arms won't be doing any growing and yes it will be noticeable.
As someone who is 6'6, youre exactly right. And honestly, Its no better up here! haha. I dont fit in ANYTHING, ive had to spend so much money on specially made things just to have everyday items like a bed or a chair. I'm extremely limited on the clothes I can wear, and it is ALL people talk about. Aside from the cross i wear, I cannot remember the last time something was said about anything other than my height. Not a day goes by where someone doesnt mention it, make a sports joke, or ask how tall i am. People are inherently intimidated by me, which, ofc has its pros, but when almost every woman and child is visibly afraid of you, its not a great feeling. You really don't get more female attention when theyre intimidated by you. And if you did, who wants that? I want someone to care about me for who i am, not what i look like haha. Don't ever listen to the media.
@@darthvader6533I don’t think most guys want to be 6’6”. But most guys want to be at least average height (5’9.5”) or a little on the taller side (6’0” to 6’2”).
2:30 glad you made that distinction. Its not really cosmetic for a person with achondroplasia dwarfism to opt for limb lengthening , particularly since so many already require drastic surgery for limb straightening. The QOL increase from such means its not cosmetic.
Dr. Raynor: I almost never comment on things on the Internet. Perhaps it's because I'm over 70 years old and I wasn't brought up using the Internet. A woman with 0 education can make 500 k a year by going from a 5 to a 6 and a made up / touched up on camera 8 woth the body of a 9 woth 20-100 k in surgery . A man can attract women that won’t even give him eye contact by going from 5’8 to 6’2. 5’10 to 6’4 is like being in a different world . The difference in results seems to be quite lopsided lol but it is what it is
I think for the most part, these types of surgery are related to addiction or body dysmorphia. I’m not one to deny someone their free will…but I think before any doctor even considers these types of surgery they need to undergo something like a year of psychiatric evaluation and therapy…with proof from an accredited psychiatrist.
i agree, and if the first year doesnt help, they should do 10 more years. surgery isnt a solution for body dismorphia. its just turns you into michael jackson or madonna
@@carlholland3819 reason I suggest a year…minimum, I think a psychiatrist and self exploration would cause enough cracks in their desire for these procedures that they would seriously begin second guessing their decisions to have them done. All you need is a little doubt that they’re necessary, or enough to drive home the long term effects of what removing or radically altering your physiology like this will do to them. It’s kind of why I don’t have tattoos. Sure it seems cool now…what about when I’m 90?
12:36 I literally had to stop the video, and leave the room... I don't mean to shame Pixee, but seeing what she did to herself, made me feel such immense sadness. I really hope she's doing alright. It reminds me of seeing Michael Jackson as a young adult, and realizing how beautiful he looked before he absolutely mangled himself.
who cares about future risk when they want the immediate benefit, even if the benefit isnt real? thats our society in a nutshell. drs should know better, but now theyre even helping with assisted suicide for people that arent even terminal
25 years from now that guy wont be able to walk, but in the time between hes probably gambling to get an improved QOL and better prospects. Considering its making him money on social media right now, he’s convinced hes right. Frankly id imagine many of these people simply wont make it to that age. Death by misadventure or accident, alcohol or drugs… people making these rash decisions probably make other rash decisions.
Geeze! Stuff like this makes me worried about my son. I’m 5’2” and his dad is 5’7”. He won’t be a tall man but I want him to embrace being a short king! I’ve always been attracted to shorter men but I know some of them must feel insecure. It’s not just women who do extreme things to fit beauty standards. Everyone should do what makes them happy but it really would be wonderful if people could be happy with their natural bodies.
everyone shouldnt do what makes them happy. that sounds like a life full of addiction with no responsibilities. how would society look under those circumstances? kind of like it looks now
Not necessarily, just make sure he doesn't sit around playing video games and skipping meals during puberty, he'll grow relatively taller (5'10 easily)
How old is he now? Has he had his final growth spurt? My parents were the same heights as you and your husband, and I’m a bit taller than my dad. But I’m a female so I hit my ultimate height when I was 13. A boy has more time.
I have a request. Can you do a video on victims who are shot with a musket, what procedures would be used today, and what procedures were used during the Revolutionary war?
if you get your legs lengthen, especially 6”.. it looks weird. his arms don’t match his body. looked like he was walking on mini stilts. arm span usually matches height, having short arms with long legs would be weird.
i'm 6'3 but i'll never look anywhere as good as this denzel guy. being tall isn't really the sort of advantage shorter people think it is. you can't have it all in life.
It is sad for men to destroy their lives like that just for something as over-rated as sex. It is like the transgenders, going through all that just to have a sex life.
My fiance is 5'7. I'm just under an inch taller than him, and he'll always be my baby. Personality- It's way more affordable/less dangerous 😂 ...and...looks do help, haha
I'm only 5'7 When I was in my teens and early twenties I was insecure about my height But I moved on from it and i'm happy with myself i have not had any complaints about my height from women. They love me for me
as someone who had a jaw reconstruction for medical reasons, people really do not understand how recovery for these things actually go, Im someone with a very high tolerance for pain, but even for me that recovery was very uncomfortable to say the least, the recovery for some of these surgeries would be anywhere between awful and heinous and thats before getting into some of the potential complications that might happen because of them.
I also had jaw reconstruction surgery almost 21 years ago for a major underbite. It was approved by my insurance for it being medically necessary. Had my upper and lower jaw and chin broken. It was the best thing to happen for me but yeah, the recovery was pretty brutal. I had a football face and had tingling sensations constantly pulsating on my lips for over six months. I had to put pressure on the tingling part in order to sleep. And that’s just one part of the recovery. There were other things I had to deal with. I’m glad I went through with it though. It significantly helped with my speech and breathing.
Absolutely agree 100% of your opinions. Couldn't have said it better myself. Another fantastic video. Great, concise and clear information without the judgement!
I broke my tib/ fib, rolling break on my right leg. My bones were not healing as quickly as my Orthopedic Surgeon wanted. He ordered an Exogen system. It used ultrasound waves to help. He also told me my break was the type every student wanted to see, but NO practicing OS wanted to see. 😂 To see someone put themselves through ANY elective surgery, involving those bones...tougher than me Awesome video, Doctor! Eveg if it brought back some.... memories.
I'm a 5' 0'' guy... I would not go for these kind of surgeries, but in Latinoamerica, where I live 6' ++ people are not that common, the average should be around 5' 6'', 5' 10''. I can't imagine the social pressure guys have in America.
Holy cow. I think my first thought would be “are you effing batshit crazy?” if the person I’m dating with said they did limb lengthening. And yeah, that’d be a major red flag tbh, I’dr ather not see what other crazy stuff might happen
Limb lengthing occurs because shorter than average guys do not do as in dating as much as taller guys. If you have 2 men of the same looks and good personality but one is 6ft and the other is 5.5ft, 85% of women or more will choose the 6ft guy.
@@shootingbricks8554its absurd that people dont realize this lol. Its not like people magically manifest insecurities out of nowhere, they exist for a reason.
@@shootingbricks8554 and how many women would choose the guy thats so insecure he had leg lengthening surgery? but if you could find some, they would be just as crazy as the guy who had the surgery so i guess they would be a good match
Thank you!!! I understand we all have insecurities because we’re human! But to go to these lengths , nah. I’ve dated plenty of average or short men. I’m not too sure where people are getting statistics saying women don’t like short guys because that’s literally not true. I love personalities and character if you happen to be short or tall that’s minuscule to me
@@shootingbricks8554 Sounds like a good argument that shorter guys are better off. Women who would dismiss guys merely on the basis of height would be just the kind of bimbos any sane man should avoid. A very useful filter, in that context. BTW I'm 5'11 so no personal grievance at work here.
I’m pretty sure limb lengthing has been around for quite a lot longer than a few years - but I do accept it’s become a heck of a lot more acceptable and accessible. Personally, I’m of the opinion that Doctors should be required to fully assess and evaluate all risks with the patient, along with a cooling off period and - for the most risky and extreme surgery - mandatory psychological treatment being included for free, and they should play a separate part in the process to the front end seller (and there should be minimal costs for all these assessments, so as to not drive people away) but in the end, if a person wants something and can afford it, understands the known and unknown risks, then they should be allowed to go through with the process. My anecdotes are all with women who have had breast reduction surgery - yeah, I can hear the people now, screaming ‘why’, and it’s mostly men, trust me, plenty of people said that to them at the time. The answer is because it brought them back pain, unwanted attention and body image problems. So… I’m pretty much in favour of cosmetic surgery, I think it should be cheaper and more accessible and I think it should be made better regulated and safer along with that - because there’s no difference to me between, as an example, breast enhancement and reduction, from the perspective of the persons needs, desires and mental state (the surgical aspects are obviously a bit different). I take this approach and apply it to every other elective/cosmetic procedure, and while many of the more extreme ones - rib removal - cause me to say ‘well, if the person is in distress or need comparable to risks involved, including the unknown factors’, a pragmatic approach is informed consent - and help for the people who become addicted or obsessive with surgical alteration, if they want it, if they don’t… then it’s their body, it gets complex with a surgeons ethics, I do understand that. But it’s clear it just drives people to places that will do it. But we should also be doing real, well funded and sound research into the effects of elective surgery. All of the effects.
Removing ribs... extremely painful for years afterwards. Funny how screwing with the ribcage also effects breathing and other things on top of your expected pain. It also increases the likelihood of pneumonia. Had to have my bottom ribs on both sides/back and one of the front ones above that after a really bad horseback riding accident. The bones were so badly shattered that there was no way to repair them and the best they could do was to remove what was left so as to prevent further damage. Bone shards rattling about your internal bits are also not healthy either. It was considered the lesser of two evils. So not an ellective/cosmetic surgery for me but the idea that someone would do that willingly...and for far more bones.....what is wrong with the world. Mind. I had also completely shattered my skull as well to the point that my helmet was the only thing keeping my brain from literally making an escape from the damage. So losing a few ribs wasnt even in my top 10 list of worries at the time.
I wish you would include time stamps, for things such as the different surgeries, in your videos. Otherwise, I'm addicted and binge watching your videos.
Meh, teh examples shown in this video are people who obviously have mental problems of some sort. No one who I know would consider them attractive sfter they went through surgery.
Great video, thanks! I really admire the way you present information: accessible and exciting, but never sensationalized and always rooted in facts and nuance. You create great content, and I always look forward to your videos!
My sister inlaw had to have that done to one leg non cosmetically. She was in a car crash and broke her growth plate and one leg was shorter. You couldn't tell by looking at her that there was a problem but the discrepancy caused her a lot of pain. If you actually need the surgery it will solve chronic pain and musculoskeletal imbalances.
Had a regular hip replacement for severe osteoarthritis, and even that stretched a couple of muscles to a surprising degree. Stretching your legs six inches seems off the chart to me.
I have a shitty attention span, so I usually don't watch a 30 min video all the way throught, without checking the comments, so good job this video kept me engaged to 26:38, but now I gotta comment that watching all this anatomical stuff made my legs feel kind of weird:D I'm very grateful for being 184.5cm so a little over 6ft, so being insecure about my height hasn't been one thing to worry about, because I can't imagine the pain of going throught a procedure like this, when even seeing the anatomical pictures made me squirmish...
I knew you looked familiar your wolfies dad I remember watching his videos years ago and seeing you in the background or helping him out with videos so cool your doing your own videos about medical stuff
I want to bring in a different perspective on this. As someone who is trans myself and recently went through top surgery after a very long process I can’t believe how easily these people have gotten these surgeries done. In order to get the surgery I did it was over a year long process after years of knowing that I wanted it done. It involved recommendations from a gender clinic, letters from my therapist and primary care physician, many pre op appointments, and a mental evaluation to see that I was in the right mind. As annoying as it was I understood why there was so much stuff I had to do to make sure that I was making the right decision. I feel like at least a recommendation letter from a psychologist should be needed before something as life changing as these surgeries should be necessary but that’s just me.
Hi Chris, You mention in the video that the patients are relatively young. Do you know if any of them are able to jog or run, and if so, how long after the surgery did this occur? Great video as always mate. John from Australia :)
i feel like a 72 year old female... had a BAD fibula fracture , it wasnt the bone part that was the worst tho. it was the way i broke it... messed up a ll my foot and ankle ligaments. rolled my dads wheelchair over my foot and it snapped at the outside ankle bone / fibula. but with the chair on me when i fell over it ripped up a lot of the ligaments and tendons. i can 'walk' now . sometimes pretty good. usually kind of a slow walk or a hobble i guess. and its been 7 months. i keep a cane with me usually because when i walk enough without one i still experience pain and a bit of foot swelling via the tendons and ligaments and kinda get ''stuck'' unable to walk really . so i a STILL 7 month later trying to heal . also m y leg it happened on is extremely weak compared to my good leg. i do standing squats without weights and only as deep as feel comfortable with and use a big 5 inch fat rubber band to stretch and gain stregnth back in my right leg. its seemingly getting better a lot quicker now. but man oh man. way worst than the comound fracture i had in my left arm when i flew off a bike at 30mph down a hill racing my then childhood friend on his moped.

The issue to me is how a cosmetic surgeon markets. In the hospital, we view invasive procedures as the last resort, to be used if there's no other good option for treatment, or if surgery offers the best chance of recovery. Cosmetic surgeons, at least the ones I've seen, are trying to market their surgery to people that have no clear medical need for it as a first line treatment. Personally, I think elective cosmetic surgery should only be offered after an order from a psychiatrist saying that other, less invasive forms of mental/emotional health treatment have failed and there should be heavy requirements to document those treatments and their outcomes. To me, the plastic surgeons that hawk their services are like leeches. They feed off of people's insecurities. This mainly applies to the elective, private cosmetic surgeons. I love our cosmetic guys in the hospital who help patients with life-altering deformities caused by illness or injury. But to me, the private ones out there hawking their skills are the sleazy used car salesmen of the medical community.

Btw I have a odd foot size, wide toe and narrow heel. A footwear guy told me to have surgery so he could fit me and I refused as even if it is hard to buy shoes and boots. I told him there is nothing wrong with my feet but the problem is companies trying to force one size fits all. Most feet has a bone that extends to the inside of the inside toe. In my case the notch is there but the toe extends about a quarter inch farther in. The trait is one my grandfather had as well requiring custom made shoes. With the family name meaning stone mason, I suspect our over developed toes favored climbing rock faces and castle walls. While not webbed and less of an angle my feet are shaped a bit like a duck's. I wonder how much of this is driven for fashion and clothing makers too cheep to make a full range of sizes.
I say live with it. If people hold it against you, find new friends. If you are insecure, see a mental health professional. To put your body through these risky procedures is crazy. Learn to appreciate what you have and make the most of it. Bone lenthening and other invasive bone procedures, if not needed, may result in unexpected consequences. Listen to your Doctor's advice
I have to wonder how many people get their legs lengthened, and then are upset at how disproportionately small their arms and hands and torso are. Denzel with his extra height looks quite odd. Like he's walking on stilts.
Limb lengthening is complicated. I had a Precice nail to correct a 3cm discrepancy caused from an infection in my hip at 2 weeks old. Although the external technology was available when I was younger. We chose not to and revisited when the Precice nail was avaliable. The ability to lengthen the limb internally makes the lengthenjng process a lot better than the old school way, it still has lots of risks. I now work in the industry selling Precice nails. None of my surgeons do cosmetic lengthenings because it’s just not worth the headache once you start lengthening femurs and Tibias. Anything past 4cm you are stretching structures that really don’t like to be stretched. Dr Paley in West Palm beach does the most cosmetic lengthenings on the planet. It’s about 100k per segment, so both femurs and both tibias is 400k all in to gain 16cm, each nail can do 8cm max.
I'd love to have a few extra inches, but 100k is probably a little too steep to ever be a feasible option for we of the normal populace. Not enough of a sample size to know how it would effect you long term either.
It would be great to get your thoughts on these weighted vests people are hyping and if the additional weight could have an impact on your joints!?! As always love your content! 👍
if youre a healthy weight, wearing a weighted vest wont hurt you. people walk around for 70 years carrying 100 lbs of excess fat. i run trails with 10 lbs of water and supplies and guaranteed my joints are strong as you like
@@carlholland3819 your views makes sense, I suppose because weight gain is usually a gradual process albeit some cases faster than others, I wouldn’t imagine anyone has ever put on 20kg over night and so if you went hardcore with the vest immediately would that have any adverse effects on the body, joints etc?
Wow I guess you could have worked on me. I had my tendons re-routed to my knees and my calf muscles lengthened. I became the hunchback and my inside ankles were gonna give out if I did not get it done. That was about 20 years ago and I am still walking just fine thanks to a fantastic orthopedic surgeon. He said the best guess of cause was congenital birth defect. Shit happens lol my mom did not smoke or party or drink alcohol at all, she would not take aspirin when pregnant lol.
In a world that is short of doctors this seems such a waste of resources. Would counselling not be more effective? Glad you used the collarbone example. I’ve seen many motorcycle racers break them and people expect there will be a surgery. Not unless it won’t heal or for some reason it’s so bed they would loose function. Best avoid the risk and leave the OR available for someone that really needs it. Upside? Maybe Turkey needs the revenue to fund their health care. Midlife is a favourite, go check him out too if you haven’t.
At 13:40 i laughed when the doctor said?, most times 9 out of 10 doctors will say that procedure is risky, 😬 but you will have the final doctor say?, yes i can do that in a demonic voice?, thats not a doctor that is the DEVIL you meeting in a back alley. 🌬💨☠⚰😈 LOL 😂
I knew one guy who got one of his legs lengthened to match the other, as one of his legs was shorter due to a birth defect. They lengthened both his femur and lower leg, and he was going through this procedure when we were 10 years old! The absolute badass went on to be a drummer and singer in a metal band.
Great video Chris. This is not normal. If they really needed the surgery for life saving reasons, fair enough. But to do these things for their ego or other idiotic reasons is just plain dumb. This is only my opinion. But good luck to them all, as long as they make an informed decision before changing their lives for ever.
What do you think of operating on patients with "Body Integrity Identity Disorder" (BIID), i.e., people who experience distress from having intact limbs? Very intersting as comparison!
Well, if people want to become amputees, they absolutely can, but they should not ask for help when their intact limbs are removed to make them feel better.
Yeah ngl though I joke about the leg lengthening surgery a lot, I am very insecure about my height and deep down I wish I could get that without the negative side effects (or immense cost).
1978 or 9 (I was 7) lengthening device round 1. They tried for 10 mo (fail) then broke it when my sister threw a stuffed animal at it and the flinch landed new growth against wheel on chair. It was a horrible device they called a Wagner, the ‘Dial’ behind my hip would turn when I moved in bed causing my length to change every time I moved. They would put tape over it but that would twist off so I wasn’t allowed to sit up for 4 months and wasn’t allowed off the bed the first 6 months. At 10 months it was a fail so bone graft from iliac crest (top rounded edge of pelvis) to hold the 1/2” that took 10 mo of agony to get and a laced up leather brace shaped to my leg (which had been blown up so I had no inner thigh) but always ended with itching, pain and a blue leg. 2 weeks after getting home I broke it against wheel but my mom didn’t believe me and left me on the couch for 2 weeks. 3 guesses how I got shot with a bolt action riffle twice. When I was 2. She took me to hospital for other reasons and thanks to the doctors I was sent back to Shriners to get a plate put in. I lost my 1/2” when I broke it.
I can't believe that there's someone out there that's willing to break their legs (on 2 separate occasions) just to gain a few inches of height for the sake of their appearance while at the same time failing to realize that they now look awkward because they have baby arms, hands, and tiny ass feet. On a similar note, I had a close friend of mine tragically have his femur broken in a car accident involving a driver who made an illegal u-turn which resulted in a head on collision. His recovery took ~ a year; That's the densest bone in the body and unsurprisingly the recovery is no joke. Anyone willing to voluntarily break both femurs at the same time is crazy, especially more than once.
I didn't think leg lengthening required breakind the bone. I thought it just required cutting the outside of the bone and adjusting the lengthing screws daily
The closest I've come to is thinking about LASIK. It probably counts somewhat because glasses are probably cheaper. But I'm around 6' and incredibly good looking, so... 😉
I have to say its incredibly dumb that LASIK was thrown into the “cosmetic” category. Having glasses and contacts is extremely inconvenient and still does not give you as good eyesight as having surgically corrected or naturally perfect vision.
glasses are definitly no where near as good as lasik. didnt manage to wear eye lenses so cant compare there, but would guess not as good as well, since there is still a requirement to take them out and regularly jumping from bad vision to good.

Human psychology just has us bawling at tall guys XD

And honestly, Its no better up here! haha. I dont fit in ANYTHING, ive had to spend so much money on specially made things just to have everyday items like a bed or a chair. I'm extremely limited on the clothes I can wear, and it is ALL people talk about.

Same!! The leg lengthening procedure makes me gag. I feel like I’m gonna throw up.
Not to mention the fear of accidentally getting addicted to pain medication like doesn't that scare you
@@carlholland3819 reason I suggest a year…minimum, I think a psychiatrist and self exploration would cause enough cracks in their desire for these procedures that they would seriously begin second guessing their decisions to have them done. as someone who had a jaw reconstruction for medical reasons, people really do not understand how recovery for these things actually go, Im someone with a very high tolerance for pain, but even for me that recovery was very uncomfortable to say the least, the recovery for some of these surgeries would be anywhere between awful and heinous and thats before getting into some of the potential complications that might happen because of them.
Limb lengthing occurs because shorter than average guys do not do as in dating as much as taller guys. If you have 2 men of the same looks and good personality but one is 6ft and the other is 5.5ft, 85% of women or more will choose the 6ft guy.

My sister inlaw had to have that done to one leg non cosmetically. She was in a car crash and broke her growth plate and one leg was shorter.
Contentment is underrated.

Have you ever tried Natural Shape Footwear brands? Like Vivo Barefoot or Lems?
I say live with it. If people hold it against you, find new friends. If you are insecure, see a mental health professional. To put your body through these risky procedures is crazy.
Not enough of a sample size to know how it would effect you long term either.
i've been both short and tall in my life. you say you'd love a few extra inches but trust me, you aren't missing out.

Being able to carry 20+ kg backpacks for extended marches is a requirement for most military service. Its not that much extra strain.
I can’t actually see much of a difference after the clavicle shortening
I see the difference: in her bank statement.
Who was it mengel who did these experiments on ppl? Now we have volunteers. We've come a long way! 🙂
I’m no Dr, but removing ribs, without any medical reason to do so, has to be a very, very, VERY loose interpretation of the Hippocratic oath.
Fractured my hand and it felt like lightning ⚡️ as soon as it happened-❤
So bone lengthening is the new man's version of cosmetic surgery.
Midlife is a favourite, go check him out too if you haven’t.
do a video on watasuki vs julius from kengen ashura
At 13:40 i laughed when the doctor said?, most times 9 out of 10 doctors will say that procedure is risky, 😬 but you will have the final doctor say?, yes i can do that in a demonic voice?, thats not a doctor that is the DEVIL you meeting in a back alley. 🌬💨☠⚰😈 LOL 😂
I love your videos 😂😂😂both informative & funny
I have pain every day of my life but i have fibromyalgia and a few other pain conditions.
I'm over here worried about getting lasik and this man's out here getting his legs lengthened wild
The costs alone and I'm just doing the budget while trying to replace a hot water heater.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Keisuke Itagaki ought to be suing all these limb lengthening surgeons for royalties.
Hey Chris could you please make a video on @BallisticHighSpeed new video about the RPG-7
Do a video on people who do Synthol injections.
What do you think of operating on patients with "Body Integrity Identity Disorder" (BIID), i.e., people who experience distress from having intact limbs? Very intersting as comparison!
Seems like a mental health issue.
Well, if people want to become amputees, they absolutely can, but they should not ask for help when their intact limbs are removed to make them feel better.
So is the same true of plastic surgery?@@MsFarant
sure is. removing 6 ribs different? that's my pont, the comparison is instructive
@@LaSpastica90
@@seb_fried Restorative surgery, no. Purely cosmetic plastic surgery, yes.
Yeah ngl though I joke about the leg lengthening surgery a lot, I am very insecure about my height and deep down I wish I could get that without the negative side effects (or immense cost).
get some taller shoes and a hat
Having glasses and contacts is extremely inconvenient and still does not give you as good eyesight as having surgically corrected or naturally perfect vision.
glasses are definitly no where near as good as lasik. didnt manage to wear eye lenses so cant compare there, but would guess not as good as well, since there is still a requirement to take them out and regularly jumping from bad vision to good.
if you were good looking you wouldnt need eye surgery or glasses
Mental health evaluation,..Body Dysmorphia.... the Human Body is made a certain way to maintain structure and Stability .... I fell for these people.
all my bones hurt just watching this.
