Titanfall 2: An Old Game's Unexpected Comeback

- Titanfall 2 is back!
After a long period of being basically unplayable, TF2's multiplayer got a server update and now the game can actually be played. Unfortunately sometimes you still get some laggy matches but I'll take relative consistency over nothing at all.
Personally I'm a bit of a newcomer to TF2. I played some Titanfall 1 back in the day but I only played a bit of TF2 before now when they had a free weekend. I'm enjoying it now though and I hope it continues to last. Maybe if we're lucky Titanfall 3 could be around the corner too?
Today I'm playing with a Volt + Stim loadout paired with Tone as my Titan. Let's see what this new player of an old game can do.

The gauntlet in the first campaign mission is a great way to get acclimated to the movement in this game.
And try hip-firing more! Hip fire helps you maintain momentum and feels so satisfying. Most guns in tf2 have really great hipfire spreads

IIRC, most of the guns have the same exact spread as ADS.

Now if only it would inject enough life in Titanfall for them to make titanfall 3 I would be so happy
titanfall 2 has always been one of my fav games its just different and sticks out to other game for me

As a self-qualified Scorch main, melting pilots is fun as hell. Flame shield is best friend, and even if they do get on your back and you don’t have a smoke charge then looking straight up and waiting until they remove your battery so you can whip around with your flame shield and melt them is a nice little break from melting a Legion’s face or any Ronin who thought they was hot until they found out Scorch was hotter.
Flame shield definitely became my favorite part of Scorch's kit once I realized it did damage lol

Yeah that's unfortunate. Thankfully progression does seem to move pretty quickly at least.
I miss playing this game so much! Apex was fun for a while, but Titanfall is my favorite still. Tone was the Titan I always used too lol
On the level of something like halo reach or battlefield 3 for me, I know it’s a common subject of discussion but this game really was done dirty by its launch.
A good tip for Tone is to aim up when you fire your rockets so they can have a better chance of hitting
Ah that makes sense. I did notice my rockets were hitting walls sometimes.
Was wondering if you already played the campaign. I swear you’ve mentioned it before, but I don’t remember.
It was the reason I originally bought the game (because the multiplayer was still broken at the time), but I haven't actually gotten around to playing it yet.
The singleplayer is short but it is so good.
I've heard a lot of good things about it.
I didnt got at launch because on the beta the matchmaker didnt work properly on 3rd world countries so It wouldnt be a good use for my money

I'm planning on playing through the campaign soon. Not decided on whether I'll make a video on it.
