How beautiful!! My ancestors came from the Cochem/Ernst area, I've often wondered what it looks like. They left in the 1850's for America.

I would recommend this mode of travel to anyone. I have made several trips along the Rhine Main Danube and also the Mosel. My only regret when I did the Mosel was that we did a lot of travelling during the night so missed a lot of the scenery which is spectacular. I hope to repeat it all again one day.

Great video thank you for the memories ,its a really lovely river and all thats along its banks from Vin yards to all the lovely villages dotted along,, the greenery is spectacular its like a small Amazon in its own right , ive stayed up at Hahn airport in the Fortuna Hotel and used it as my base to get around , its handy and the roads are great greetings from Ireland
