Hey everyone, my name is Susan, I grew up in Asia. This video is a gender analysis based on my life experience and relevant gender theories. I’m happy to share my thoughts with you. This video will last for 30-40 minutes, thank you for your patience and interest.
This is a video that combines my personal experience, gender theory, and I've always wanted to make a video like a movie, and finally I did. The preparation for this one was complicated, I read books and articles such as "Is Gender Fluid? , Judith Butler, Le Deuxième Sexe, Gayle Rubin, and other books and essays.
The first draft totaled 5,000 words and it took a few days to memorize it. Once the pre-recording was so bad that I felt like I was screwed, but I didn't dare to slack off, I lay on my bed and iced my eyes, memorized the script while recording it on my cell phone, and played it to myself before I went to bed. Speaking confidently in front of the camera and sharing my experiences and thoughts, yes, that's what I've always wanted to do.
I haven't been making much progress on my channel, and people say it takes patience to make TH-cam. Yeah, whatever, there'd be a road for me.
