@Brisdad53 Why not keep a life raft on board for everybody too? Because that would be impractical. You always have to balance practicality, storage space, and cost with your acceptable level of risk. Level of risk will change depending on environment and individual comfort as well. Personally I'm not going to go spend $3000 on PLB's for everyone on board, as its just not worth it given the extremely low chances that we'll actually NEED all of them.
@Brisdad53 I own an Epirb and a PLB. I also own mustang survival HIT lifejackets. Every life jacket in my boat has 20ft of paracord in each pocket. If we ever have to ditch the boat we will tie ourselves together. Having 6 PLBS is pointless, ESPECIALLY if they're all kept in a ditch bag. PLBs should be kept on person and not in a bag.... I've been in two instances offshore where our boat almost capsized. It can happen so fast you barely have time to grab life jackets or the ditch bag.... that's I bought $250 life jackets that I wear when underway and that's why I spare no expense on safety equipment.... but again, having 6 PLBs on board (especially in a bag) is pointless...
Great Video! Straight, informative, superb communicated !
Thank you
Okay thank you so much for looking me know about that much
There are Hand cranked salt water purifiers too
to create tap water from the sea . I would put that into the h bag too!
are there? i havent found a portable system to convert sea water to drinking water yet. can you drop a name or link?
Yet no info on stocking your cooler. What brand of rum goes best with sunsets? Should there be more ice, and less beer?
definitely more ice.. got to keep the beer cold otherwise it's useless
A PLB for every person on board your vessel? I think your are going "overboard". One eprib for the boat and one plb should be more than adequate..

Brisdad53 it’s not whitewater rafting. It’s the ocean. Chances are you’ll be together.
