      I'd say we're lucky it's not shown here in the states because then it would be legal something and we'd have to pay a subscription and never get to see it. Instead we get to see it for free here and just sacrifice the quality of the camera

    Love kraft beers.
    Went to Ireland, believing Guinness was the only beer worth of the name in Ireland. Could not be more wrong. The Irish kraft beers are amazing in variety and most of them are quite good.
    Coming from Portugal, where we have a flourishing kraft beer industry, I was delighted to see that it flourished elsewhere as well. In Dublin, don't miss the Black Sheep Pub but if you can, go out into the countryside and explore the little small pubs, there are magical.

      As an Irish man, thank you for your wonderful words. I no longer drink (had far too much lol) but almost every town has a microbrewery now, my home town has three. I think there almost should be a category in-between micro and mass as a couple of the local microbreweries are quite large

    • @RocasThePenguin
      @RocasThePenguin 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      No doubt, American general beer is horrid, but don't think that the Brits are any better. Go to a local pub and see how many people are drinking basic lagers like Stella or Fosters. It's very very common.

    • @aethellstan
      @aethellstan 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RocasThePenguin You're absolutely right. I think it's because it's generally cheaper and what they're used to but also an advertising thing, this type of beer is seen as a young persons drink whilst real ale is seen as a beer belly old fart with a beard type of drink (which I have to admit I am) What they don't see is the sheer variety and quality when they swerve away from factory produced beers to real ale.

    • @aethellstan
      @aethellstan 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RocasThePenguin One more point, our beer is better in general, we have hundreds if not thousands of breweries making good beer, you just need to go on the camra website to see that. I get beer sent to me from all parts of Britain, all of it (apart from two which I really detested) were drinkable, several were sublime and I now have many more favourites which I look out for when out and about. From Orkney brewery - Puffin ale to Titanic - Plum Porter, Shepherd Neame - Double Stout and loads more.
