WOW the ML was super ruthless in this drama which is quite an interesting change but he really would do anything for the FL and FL was also not too bad. Also really liked their chemistry together

I love Zuo Yi, she is a very talented and beautiful actress. Every drama I have seen her in she gives an outstanding performance and in this drama she doesn't disappoint. opening seconds, seeing FL being tortured by her sister and mother. What gets me how much power they have and nobody sees them doing it. Where is everyone, the FL is screaming, doesn't anyone hear or do they not care. I love how the FL who had been feed poison to make her be a fool humiliates her so called family at their tea party. But I'm thoroughly disgusted at how they torture her and nobody seems to care because they think she is stupid. This drama does not promote freedom for everyone. If you have a disability you are treated like a leper even by the authorities. I like when 2ml and sister think they have killed FL when they push her into water but when she wakes up, she realises she has been reborn and plans how to take her revenge. It broke my heart when sister set ML up to look like they had slept together, it totally shattered FL's heart and now. doesn't want to go on. But when the town folk got struck down with the plague, she stepped in to help but unfortunately, she got sick herself. the only way to save her was for the prince to scrap her shoulder bone to release the toxin. YAH.!!!! it worked and she slowly came back from the dead. Then slowly but slowly with the help of the ML she takes everything away from 2ML, sister and mother the people who killed her mother and hurt her the most. I'm so glad when her dad came home and found out the truth and he also inflicted punishment on the sister before prince killing her. Wow, and not least the 2ML finally got what he deserved, being killed by his brother. And yes, we have a happy ending, the prince finally marries the FL and ML finally gets to become a father.
in history of short dramas this is my first time watching a father loves the female lead daughter...in other dramas even biological fathers are mean to their daughters.
