Imphal (Manipur), Dec 22 (ANI): Over the years many people from the northeast region, especially the youngsters, have taken up careers in art and fashion industry. At the same time the region has produced many outstanding personalities and professionals in various work sectors. With a motive to bring out the young women of the state from their comfort zones and build platform to identify their potentials at a fairly competitive stage, the 2017 edition of ‘Miss Manipur’, one of the grandest beauty pageants of the state, was held at Bheigyachandra Open Air Theatre, Palace Compound in Imphal.
