I extremely glad you have friends and neighbors to fill in the gap while Chance was away. I just wish I had that blessing. I can’t even get someone to help me clean/organize things around my house. Guess I should pray for that.

You could get one of those big cereal containers and make your trail mix in that and the kids can just open the lid and pour it into a smaller container or zip lock bag for school. Love your videos Amy!

I unpack right away, even putting the dirty laundry in the washer, and getting it started. A couple years ago my hubby and I went to Vegas and we literally got home at midnight or 1 am. I told him just unpack the dirty clothes and let me start the washer. I did and then we slept and when we got up I put the clothes in the dryer and finished unpacking

My husband is a truck driver. He’s gone 3 weeks and home 4 days. Everything seems to happen when he’s not home. I ended up with a flat myself. I had just dropped my high schooler off and was pulling out of the parking lot. I heard a thudding sound and I knew immediately. I pulled into the apartments right next to the high school. Got out and checked and sure enough, flat tire. Somebody came by and said they knew how to change a tire. He ended up stripping the lug nuts! Nobody could get them off. Went through our insurance for roadside assistance and got my car towed to the house. I forgot about free roadside assistance until after the guy did that. Luckily we have a second car. So I had to drive my husband’s car for almost 2 weeks before my husband got home. It took a lot of elbow grease but my husband got the tire off. It couldn’t be repaired. So I got a new tire. I understand the frustration of “why can’t this happen when my husband is home?”

I'm so glad that Gracie June is feeling better. My preschoolers have had a sinus/upper respiratory thing going around for the past couple of weeks and I'm glad we have fall break this week so everyone can recover. It's currently 78 degrees - in New Jersey in November! I think Mother Nature got confused. 🤪 Have a wonderful week!

Im having a hard time wanting to clean cuz my home is small and old. I just cant find happiness in my home and not an option to move. Any advice on how I can get over not having a beautiful home to keep clean??
