একটা কথা গর্বের সাথে বলতেই হয় শ্রদ্ধেও খরাজ কাকুর মতো একজন এতবড় প্রতিভার সাথে আমার বাবা খুব অল্প সময়ের জন্য থিয়েটারে অভিনয় করেছিলেন, এবং বাবা জীবিত থাকাকালীন ওনাদের বন্ধুত্বের কথা প্রায়ই বলতেন। মনে এক অদম্য আশা আছে, যদি ওনার সাথে একটি বার অল্প সময়ের জন্যে হলেও দেখা করতে পারি।
ভিডিও প্রসঙ্গে বলি, ২৩ মিনিট থেকে ২৪ মিনিটের মাঝে যে প্রসঙ্গ আলোচনা হচ্ছিলো, তাতে আমার পলাতক ছবিটির কথা মনে পড়ে গেলো। সেই অর্থে আমরা হয়তো বলতেই পারি মনোজ বাজপেয়ী বা পঙ্কজ ত্রিপাঠিদের বহু আগে বাংলায় এই ধরণের কাজ হয়ে গেছে।
আমাদের চারপাশের আলোচনায় শুনি Kharaj Mukherjee comedian হিসেবে নয় প্রথমে বড় অভিনেতা হিসেবে গন্য বেশিরভাগ দর্শকের কাছে।
খরাজ মুখার্জি 'র গলায় নাটকের গান বেশ ভালোই লাগলো ভাব, মেজাজ, গলা সব মিলিয়ে অপূর্ব এক গাইয়ে সে, জানলাম। ❤❤❤
very well conducted. You asked questions and gave the actor time to talk and listen to him, not interrupting after every few minutes and laughing and loosing the chain of emotions. Great work Arunava. Looking forward to more such interviews.

যে মানুষটিকে সবসময় হাসাতে দেখেছি,সেই মানুষটির চোখে জল!সত্যি উনি অনন্য!
আর ওনার গান গুলো যে শুধুই কোন হাসির গান,তা নয়,সামাজিক একটা মেসেজ ও থাকে।সেটা হয়তো সবাই বুঝতে পারে না।
ওনাকে বেশির ভাগ ক্ষেত্রেই কমেডি তে দেখা যাক,কিন্তু যে কয়টা অন্য চরিত্রে দেখা গেছে,তিনি দাপটের সাথে অভিনয় করেছেন।
আর সব শেষে, গুরুর প্রতি যে শ্রদ্ধা এখনো ও উনি রেখেছেন,তা খুবই বিরল।

আপনি ভারতীয় চলচ্চিত্র জগতের এক বিরল প্রতিভা। আপনাকে আমরা আরও অনেক অনেক বছর দেখতে শুনতে চাই। শুধু একটা অনুরোধ সিগারেট (আমি নিজে দিনে চল্লিশটা সিগারেট খেতাম, তের বছর হলো ছেড়েছি এবং ভালো আছি) খাওয়াটা ছেড়ে দিন, মনে হচ্ছে এটা আপনাকে হয়তো কষ্ট দিচ্ছে।
আমিও তাই বলি সিগারেট ও সাথে হয়তো সুরাপান ও নিয়মিত ভাবে চলে সেগুলো বাদ পড়লে উনি সুস্থ শরীরে দীর্ঘদিন বেঁচে থাকবেন যেটা আমাদের মতো সাধারণ ভক্তরা চাই..
