I often use the roland tr 808 pack for drums percs etc. and the rest is just sampling sample a lot from 100s of tapes i have on my pc and then i mix it together
Nah bro i only have a cheap laptop.i sample and chop a lot since i started with boom bap beats and i often use a drum kit from roland tr 808. I dont add anything and just mix it a little bit so that its as raw as possible.

@stickyotwo Minnesota has a great rap scene, Atmosphere, Brother Ali, couple others. A lot of nice undiscovered trap shit coming out of Florida as well. Duke Deuce is bringing the real Crunk memphis shit back now though fr, he's nice as hell for a modern version of memphis My state ain't got shit. One really nice white boy named cal scruby out of cincinnati but he's not really hit mainstream like that
