People who foster dogs and cats are true heroes. I salute each and every one of them.
I was just going to say the same thing. It's amazing. And this sweet baby; what a recovery and what a spirit.
The word hero has no meaning anymore.

Her tail was wagging even when she was in such bad shape. She knew after she was rescued from that dumpster that she was going to be taken care of and treated decently. That tail wag was hope brought to life.

It makes me want to cry that a dog that severely emaciated with mange that bad, can still wag it's tail and know that it's loved and someone wants to take care of him.

I would say that to me they are like cockroaches, except that would be very unfair to cockroaches. If the person who dumped this dog was drowning, I would sit down and just watch. I often save bugs that I see drowning.

I'm glad that Q-Tip is all right now but I couldn't have given her up for adoption.I'd be a failure as a foster father every time!!
Mange is a treatable skin condition.. The sadness is that the previous owner chose to throw her away instead of getting help..
I really appreciate the foster parents who have the courage to let their foster dog get adopted by someone.. It's not easy.. Great job guys!
Fosters are people who are willing to “step up to the plate” NOW in that critical moment in time when an animal needs to be removed from a bad environment before something tragic happens. God bless you all🙏😇
It requires unique strenght to let go of the rescued pet after all the work done, because there will a next one that will need as much care

How cool was it to see that dog running around like crazy, once she healed up and realized she had wheels, there was no stopping her. And what a fantastic transformation, great job and a happy new beginning.
My family has been taking in foster animals since I was young and it really made a difference in my life. I've been suffering from a mental disorder and animals help my symptoms immensely. You get attached sometimes but it's really worth the tears because you have helped them to have a good life.
Same…well I don’t have a mental disorder, but it helps calm me down. My three dogs are incredibly needy and they love it when I scratch them. Not to mention, I’m a total insomniac, so giving them cuddles helps me pass out. My brain literally won’t let me sleep until morning sun time and I’m tired 24/7,but I love my dogs.
What a honey!! Even though she had to feel terrible, she kept wagging her little tail. Many thanks for making her well again.

@@mediocrates5233 sometimes people don’t realize a pet is as much time, money, or effort when they get it. it is better they realize that it just isn’t working sooner than later and find it the proper home it deserves. or they have it temporarily as a foster and know it is better to give it to a different family instead of trying to foster fail or adopt it. too many people in the comments try to guilt others to keep the animals when they are only fostering them. foster parents/families should not feel guilty or obligated to adopt every animal that comes into their house just because people think they should keep them.

A good fosterer is one that doesn’t keep the pets for themselves. If every fosterer did that they wouldn’t be able to save other animals.
A good foster is any foster home who takes the time out of there lives to take care of an animal! But Its very true what you said
That's my fear, because I've been bringing home strays since I was little kid, animal and human.
I'm afraid if we foster, since my husband is of similar love and empathy with animals as I, that we'll go from one dog and two cats, all rescues, to fifteen dogs and twenty seven cats, with a double garage-sized indoor winter playroom for each.
In other words, our animals would live in our house, and we'd have to pitch a tent in the woods. If they'll still allow it.

Some love,good food and dogs recover very well. My husband found a dog in bad condition and living in a horrible place. He rescued him and gave him lots of love and good food and he turned out to be one of the best,most loving dogs we ever had.

It’s amazing to see that the other dogs were very gentle with Q-Tip, they could see that she was in very poor shape, props to that lady (forgot her name) for taking good care of Q-Tip, just goes to show that we should restore faith in humanity.
