Valdosta's also very close to a lot of other cool cities and towns. Just a short drive to Jacksonville, FL, Tallahassee, FL, and Savannah, GA just to name a few.
So, I was stationed at Moody, if y'all like it more power to ya However, the weather, summers are extremely hot and humid, expect thunderstorms every day. Winter time it gets cold not out of the ordinary for an ice storm . Valdosta has a lot of churches you shouldn't have a problem in finding one. The food scene is nothing but fried for the most part
I jaja moved here a few months ago , & maybe it’s just me . There isn’t a thing to do unless you wanna drive two hours + out of town . I miss having Yosemite in my backyard dang it 🥲

No offense but I live in Valdosta and this video doesnt do this town justice...in fact two of the places you showed like the cattle ranch and Mexican place are not even in this city....one is in Hahira and the other is off highway 41 close to Dasher and Lake Park....oh and Wild Adventures is Clyattville which is west of Lake Park and Valdosta....you only showed a little bit of the downtown and missed out on a lot of cool things...You didnt even mention the pride and joy of our city....The Valdosta wildcats (the winningest high school football team in America) hence the nickname of our town is Winnersville USA aka Titletown by ESPN....the historical museum off Highway 84 on Hill street....No mention of Doc Holidays home here....no mention of the Crescent plantation house...no mention of all the Pro athletes from the NFL to MLB who played in the schools here both county and city as well as the university...Country music star Rhett Akins....Sonny Shroyer (Enis from the Dukes of Hazzard)...Demond Wilson ( Lamont from Sanford and Son)....and a lot of other cool things to do and see here

I’d say check out the blue springs ! Most def swim with some turtles b4 summer hits and it’s packed !
I use to live in valdosta and then in Lake park. Then back to valdosta ga. Then eventually I moved to Pearson and then willacoochee.
