It looks like the front forks could stand to be 2-3 inches longer instead of putting handle bar spacers on it. You might find it will handle better as well.
All that would do is raise the bike up not the handle bars

If u can find a thumb throttle for those 3 wheelers. Much safer and easier to hold on without a twist throttle. Just my opinion. I started on minibike myself in 1980. About 2 or 3 years later i got my first honda atc 90. Anther year or 2 later got my first full suspension honda atc200x. Still one of my favorates.
In 2001 i got my first 4 wheeler. Honda trx400ex, then in 2004 i bought a trx450r, with full HRC kit, widened it out to 50 inches wide, had suspension on reworked to my low weight and put pipe on it. Omg that thing ripped. It was stolen about 4 years ago.
Oh one more thing. 18 inch flattrack tires improve cornering on an atc or trike. Stays planted on 3 wheels better.

That thing is BEGGING for that 200cc lifan or whatever it is. The gokart transmissions are just not cutting it for a build that good.

Red Beard's Garage I had a chinese atv with a gy6 150cc like in your buggy. 2 grams lighter weight (12 i think stock) red secondary clutch spring (or they call it 2000rpm spring) and red centrifugal clutch springs, you won't recognize it. The centrifugal springs will help with stationary take off but you have to make sure to not make the pads slipping because you'll burn the bell in no time. Weights will improve primary ratio rpm, driven spring will help with backshifting, very useful when you try to go up a hill the engine won't bog down before the cvt reduce the gearing. I tried the yellow setup (1500rpm) but i went back to the red setup. In something as heavy has your buggy, I would go straight to the red ones. I'm impatient to see how it comes out!

Honestly I'm shocked Coleman or something hasn't made one of these or Gio, tao tao linhai or hisun could make a copy of Honda's 3 wheelers. I wonder what it would be like with a 200cc gy6 instead of the normal Chinese 200cc engines.
They are illegal. Too dangerous
@@connorssmallengines6663 trikes are not illegal they had a 10 year ban from 1987-1997 that was more of a gentleman's agreement to not produce them. Ones that were already manufactured before that are still registrable. The ban has been over for years now and a couple company's have tried to make them again Honda included with no success due to the cost to purchase one being as high as a 4x4 atv. Trikes are also not very dangerous with knowledge and practice they are just as safe as any 4 wheel atv and provide more manuverability for tight forest trails. I own 3 and there is a huge following behind them, there is what's called trike fest every year. pretty much every state and province will have one.

Man that takes me back to riding in the 80's. Honda 110 then the 185 and then the 350x. The safety sallie's killed the 3 wheelers. The 4 wheeler just wasn't as fun .
Watching your videos is like a breath of fresh air, in from northern michigan and everyone up here think they need dirt bikes or 5000 dollar quads, I have always been a believer in the predator motors I have them on my air compressors and I just put one on my snowblower and just knowing there is support for these types of motors for upgrades and stuff is amazing! I try explaining to people they dont need a dirtbike that goes 90 mph because they will never hit that in the woods but a coleman 200u is perfect even at 25 mph thats all you need in the woods having fun thank you for showing everyone that it is possible to have a great time with minimal money. You guys are amazing keep up the great work! Now I think I want to go build my coleman 200u into a trike lol

I love that thing! Reminds me of the three wheeler Manco made in the 80s. That thing was a tank with a 301. Maybe that’s what should go in yours next. Great job guys! Always look forward to watching you guys!
Yes it does! I really wish ATV manufacturers would bring back a high-value small adult capable machine. Sort of like sea-doo did with original Spark.

Trike is pretty cool I bult one that is similar but I used a 110cc atv swing arm worked out great got your breaks and chain adjustment all right there
RED BEARD THE FRONT SPROCKET NEEDS TO BE RIGHT AT THE PIVOT POINT OF THE SWING ARM. MOUNT A JACK SHAFT ON THE SWING ARM ABOVE THE PIVOT BOLT.YOU WILL HAVE A FRONT CHAIN GOING FROM THE TORQUE CONVERTER TO A 12 TOOTH SPROCKET ON ONE SIDE AND A REAR CHAIN FROM THE JACK SHAFT ON THE OTHER SIDE TO THE BACK SPROCKET. AS THE SWING ARM GOES UP AND DOWN THE TENSION WON'T CHANGE.THE FRONT CHAIN MIGHT NEED A SMALL TENSIONER .TAKE THE SHOCK OFF SO YOU CAN TEST THE MOVEMENT OF THE ARM BETTER. LET ME KNOW IF YOU READ THIS GOOD LUCK, MARTIN
That's how muddy Oregon is every winter. My coat weighed about 30 pounds with all the mud on it after my last ride.

Quit calling it mini bike Monday. It’s not even a mini bike anymore😞
You should make a reverse trike minibike, it basically solves all the problems of a conventional trike. With only 1 back wheel it steers easy, so cornering is MUCH more predictable. It's also less tippy under braking. Brake and sprocket are built into the rear wheel so they're done already, and well protected. It's kind of hard to see in the picture, but the footrests are like snowmobile running boards. They're just a piece of small angle iron going from near the rear axle to near the wheel on the front axle to form the edge of the running board, then it's filled in with expanded metal, so it doesn't hold dirt. Hand throttle, hand brake, suicide shifter. Super fun.
