I admire how Within Temptation is going nowadays. You can clearly see they've been working hard to deliver some diversity and new elements to their music. And the quality still high.

Masterpiece. They keep developing and exploring, not afraid to experiment and find new ways to make incredible music. The voice of Sharon amazes me every time. Looking forward to attend the live concerts this year. Artists like them need to stand on the podium, nothing less. Let's hope the corona-fog will disappear.

Wow. I absolutely love this band. Evanescence played Download a fair few years ago, Within Temptation played in a tent. I told the missus that Within Temptation ruled, so we went to the tent to watch, and later saw Evanescence. Yep, The missus loved Within Temptation more even though she only went to the festival for Evanescence
It was one of the first bands I listened to (in metal) and still love everything the do.
May I suggest trying “the other half of me” from their black symphony concert? It’s a mixture of Sharon’s angelic vocals with growls. Amazing example of beauty and the beast singing style.
Did you know she had a solo project to try and overcome writing block? It’s more poppy but amazing as well. I would suggest my indigo - Indian Summer
And lastly, she can belt as well, try “just what I need tonight” from liefde Von music.
This is an epic song and video, the best in my opinion. Mike Coolen is an awesome drummer!!

easily one of their absolute best songs. not too complex, but the chorus is a total banger.
and sharon is simply a stellar singer. she really shines in this song.
especially the short pause before the chorus hits is just epic.
and the song overall is super emotive and uplifting.
and for a band to do one of their greatest songs 25 years into their career is a strong statement and not too common.

I've seen them live years ago and also more recently and even though i don't like the new stuff as much they're still good live. Who hurt you? I keep seeing your negative comments about WT (mostly Sharon) and it’s clear that you have some unreasonable hatered towards them. It’s okay to not like a band but she’s objectively an excellent singer, up there with Floor and Tarja. You’re just salty AF.
