Thanks for demonstrating the caliper piston removal with and without the specialized tool. Stoked for you to be getting sponsored parts and tools! Another great vid!
I think you should incorporate the burnt bronze and red that you have on the triples. Might tie everything together. I'm a big fan of that burnt bronze. You could throw any pop of color at it and it would look cool.
I think the red would look good being so close to the fresh hubs. I struggle to imagine how the bronze would look being so close to all the shiny red and black. Awesome video as usual.
PP and HDPE (Polypropylene and High Density Polyethylene) are everywhere and work well with many petroleum based solvents. Plastic gas cans are made of HDPE :).
Great video on the drum brake! Never would have thought to pull the pin out and grease it up like that or lock the back break down before tightening the axle bolt.. thanks for the help 🤙🏻
I think you should do the master cylinders as the burnt bronze. They would add a nice little extra touch of that color which would match the clamps. I also think if you had done red anodized master cylinder caps, and then burnt bronze master cylinders, I personally think that would look really cool! However, I am excited to see how the tungsten looks with the master cylinders, I think they'll look awesome!
Pump the pistons out most of the way using the fluid pressure before removing the master cylinder if you don't have a tool or piston pliers. Far less risk of shooting a piston out and damaging it.
Your videos are awesome! It's so nice how you explain what to do and what you are doing. You can really learn a lot in your videos especially if you are new to bikes.
So I just bought a 2001 CR125R and the man I bought it from had got the clutch cover flywheel cover and the cylinder head powder coated black. Idk if you are interested in trying that on yours as it does look quite nice
Smooth out the NISSIN lettering first like you did the master covers and clamps. Then I'd go with the burnt bronze or gold for contrast with the wheels. They would look like works calipers.
Burnt bronze with small red ascents on bolts and anything else. It’s a Honda so there is already a lot of red. Just worried too much red will make it look bad. But I think burnt bronze with red ascents would look sick.
Today, it is wonderful finished quickly I bought a hornbolt YAMAHA TZR 250 1KT one month ago, the engine is already rusty and does not move, I am already in a state of being in a state I am in a different country and communication with you is coming I am happy I am sorry if the sentence is wrong because it is an interpreter. I am looking forward to it.
I don’t see why you would want to remove the glass lenses from the master cylinders! They are facing the rear of the bike anyway and don’t get hit by rocks!! I do enjoy your videos and admire the lengths you go to and the detail in stripping and cleaning.👍🏻
Yeh the same thing was in my head. The rear is probably more in harms way from something coming of your rear wheel but i cant think of a conceivable scenario where the front glass would get hit... someone going the wrong way on the track?? Maybe a possibility on public enduro trails that are multi directional i spose?
What color?
Cameron Niemela I think burned bronze would look good as a contrast
I would go with a nice (dark)red
Gold
Same as they were 😂
The same of triple clamps !!!
Burnt bronze to match the triple clamps, or go chrome/nickel color for the works look.
Lock ring pliers work really good for removing caliper pistons as well.
Coating the case bolts or getting titanium ones would look absolutely amazing literally
This bike when done is going to be mint
My brake caliper and master cylinder came out great! You the man!
Finally got time to watch your videos again. I still have to watch everything from the beginning of march up till now. Glad to be back!
Thanks for demonstrating the caliper piston removal with and without the specialized tool. Stoked for you to be getting sponsored parts and tools! Another great vid!
Thanks!!

That chrome is a good idea too.
I'm sooo looking forward to see the end result. Hope you finish it soon.
Burnt bronze for sure! The contrast between the two will be amazing!
I think the red would look good being so close to the fresh hubs. I struggle to imagine how the bronze would look being so close to all the shiny red and black. Awesome video as usual.
All these part still looks pretty good, even the seal.
I'm soo excited! Soon this bike will be put together!
PP and HDPE (Polypropylene and High Density Polyethylene) are everywhere and work well with many petroleum based solvents. Plastic gas cans are made of HDPE :).
You should get yourself into some welding!! I love it!
That would be fun!
Next level stuff! Not only is your work IMPRESSIVE but the videos just keep getting better....Awesome
I like how clean your workspace is kept.
Thank You!
Bronze, but the little tiny bits and peices like the bolts in red, to give t a nice contrast
Callipers should go candy red mate, will compliment the black and look sick with the triple clamp nut and hubs being the same colour.
Great video on the drum brake! Never would have thought to pull the pin out and grease it up like that or lock the back break down before tightening the axle bolt.. thanks for the help 🤙🏻
Glad I could help!

Oh yeah, another masterpiece video done by Cameron niemela! Getting ready to watch this video!

Stoplight red would look great!
Nice job. Some kinda red would go good with the tungsten.
Darker red sounds awesome
Keep em coming mate looking forward to seeing it come together just as much as you are.
Uk 🇬🇧 follower
I would do some shade of red, maybe a candy apple
Candy red or white or both!! It’s already looking AWESOME X
Im planning on doing this real soon to my kx125 1998. Thanks for the instructional video!
Looking foward to the build videos of the engine
I cant wait to see this bike put altogether! Sweet vid man keep up the good work!👍🏼
Your videos are awesome! It's so nice how you explain what to do and what you are doing. You can really learn a lot in your videos especially if you are new to bikes.
Neon green and orange
Stoked for the rebuild
Red on the brakes.I paint the back of my brake pads red, gives a nice look
Great video the bikes looking better already
Would it make pulling the pistons easier if you opened the bleeder screw? Seems like if you didn't it would create a vacuum as you pulled them out.
Your getting close to done bud keep up the great work!
Definitely got to be red !

You nailed it! That's exactly what I had in mind man.
this dewalt impact screwdriver is my dream, pity that here in Brazil it costs almost 2 wages.
Oh man why did you not match the callipers with the clamps along with the caps for the brakes then do the rest in the new colour
Maybe dark blue that would look nice
burnt bronze should contrast well with the brackets
You should supe up the 110
The bronze will be nice
Any videos on how to change a rear drum break?
Yes, this video covers drum brakes th-cam.com/video/Ds6tsZly7_w/w-d-xo.html
Loving the bronze, so sick
Thanks for the daily inspiration!
You should ceracote the brake calipers too!
I have to say RED.
great video by the way!!
I know this is off topic but your mag wheel cleaner but they also make a aluminum cleaner which do you recommend? Thank you dude
Cameron, you should think about getting a fire extinguisher if you don't have one already.
Yep got two in the shop already
use the same color as the clamps would be sick!
Bike is going to look great
very informative Sir... love it...
this is so good...
coz i also need to clean an repair my brakes
Burnt bronze with small red ascents on bolts and anything else. It’s a Honda so there is already a lot of red. Just worried too much red will make it look bad. But I think burnt bronze with red ascents would look sick.
Man getting tired of looking at this thing not complete can't wait
inginition cover would look nice ceracoated and aluminium color letters
what is the point of the acetone if you just sandblasted everything off it?
Should do the color on the triple clamps
How you can put your brakes like ken roczen shinning hrc brakes
do you have to remove the window when you cerekote your master cylinders?
burnt bronze or the same red u used on you hubs
What product do you use in the tank where you leave the pieces of sauce to remove the dirt?
It is called acetone

What are the two little holes under the window on the rear master cylinder
Dude Cameron I just did a caliper rebuild today! Piston smoked me in the face when I was using compressed air. Your vid would of helped a lot!
James Hatfield glad to know i wasnt the only one to have the piston go flying out
Fredzey 100 it’s fucking scary
James Hatfield dont loose them because they are $40nz per one from memory
can't wait for the next vid!!!!! Ist so nice!!
Gold
Burnt bronze would look pretty trick!
Make them a nice red 👌
you should paint them red candy
matching with the rest will be sick
i love this man. looks dope!
lovely logo
You should do them bronze! Its going to be a show bike😏
The one that was on the triple clamps
Do them bronze buddy will look stunning
i think the burnt bronze would look sick with the tungsten so do the calipers bronze
I don’t see why you would want to remove the glass lenses from the master cylinders! They are facing the rear of the bike anyway and don’t get hit by rocks!! I do enjoy your videos and admire the lengths you go to and the detail in stripping and cleaning.👍🏻
They need to be removed for cerakoting, plus I'd rather have them welded shut.
I thought the same thing. lol. It's like this man is going racing in the 2018 AMA Lucas oil outdoor motocross season racing the 450's.
Yeh the same thing was in my head. The rear is probably more in harms way from something coming of your rear wheel but i cant think of a conceivable scenario where the front glass would get hit... someone going the wrong way on the track?? How is the coating affected by brake fluid does it dissolves or damage the coating in anyway?
Nope, it holds up great to brake fluid
I wish you could make revive moto hats I would buy on for sure then
candy apple red!!
do a matt black color
Do a burnt but kinda bright red maybe candy apple
Freaking awesome video, and the update news at the end Omg...
Do the other parts a dark red or maroon color
Tungsten so that way they match the rest of the braking system
This bike Gunnar be sweet
What carb are you running
My ocd says burnt bronze but I think that same red as your hubs powder coated would look sik bra 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Desde colombia siempre altanto de tus videos!
pp: polypropylene
hdpe: high density polyethylene
Nice video!👌 I really like them
I really like your videos
Thanks!
great video but I dont agree with removing all the letters, i think they look better with the letters. great build tho
Vc e muito bom no que faz parabéns
