Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is a textbook visual thrill ride punctuated by brief moments of forced emotion and little else. Director Adam Wingard has a lot of fun with textures, colors, and camera work, and he’s adept at giving fans the over-the-top monster action that they demand via an imposing new villain. Unfortunately, there’s no time to spend on making things make sense or even matter all that much, and what few emotional punches are thrown lack the necessary wind up to connect, save for some very well done moments between Kong and his Hollow Earth kin. - บันเทิง

As someone who isn't IGN and a fan of these movies I'd give the Film a 7.
The action is always big and fun. The humans don't overstay their welcome and don't constantly interrupt the fights like in say King of the Monsters or Godzilla verses Kong. But they do have the weakest, dumbest scenes in the entire movie that grinds everything to a halt. The best scenes are actually between Kong and Zuko(Mini Kong) the dialogue you can infer between the two even without a single spoken word are the best scenes. The Scar King is amazing even with so little time on screen. And the action takes up about 70% or more of the movie and it's so fast paced and energetic that it did not feel like a nearly two hour movie in the best possible way.

Did y’all even watch the movie? This review sounds like it came from someone who hasn’t seen any of the other Monsterverse movies and was reading the cliff notes made by someone who had seen the movie. Lot of inconsistencies that didn’t take place in the movie.
It's not like the Monsterverse is some story rich experience though, the story is easily the worst part of all of these movies. Their strength is elsewhere.

Why are you here supporting them then? If you want to starve a beast to death, you don't feed it. By giving them a view and commenting anything, positive or negative, you're boosting them to the youtube algorithm.
They doing the problem that Pacific ring sequel did. in the first movies the monsters moved slowly because they are so big, physics. in the sequels they are sprinting around so fast their movements would literally be moving at 300kmh lol. it makes it look silly and loses it's illusion of scale. same with the camera movements flying around rather than ground level to show the scale
That was a very positive sounding review just to give it a 6.

This movie is okay. It's better than the last. It's not boring and with some snacks it's rather enjoyable. It's not going to be a classic or anything. Won't have a cult following like the 90s Godzilla but overall it's okay.
