Kohli… in just one tour he has become yesterday’s man and today’s bully. His frustration with his personal performance has spilled out into the public arena as a bitter fellow lashing out at those who admire him most: his fans, his teammates, even young Konstas is on record as saying Kohli was his hero.

India has a great cricket team, they were just flogged by a better team. Let's give some credit where credit is due, and stop bleating on about the Indian team. Well played Pat and the boys. Love your work.
They are a great team against smaller teams. But their true ability comes out when playing with a better team. Even couldn't win a series at home in India.
Again, if you are talking about the World Cup, India would not have made it to the grand final if they weren't a great team. It's just that our boys, the Australian cricket team, played out of their skins, and flogged India. The first stroke of genius being the decision to bowl first, you can see Pat Cummins agonising over this question in the pre game videos. The stardom is the "cancer" in the team and it's spirit. Past glory has its own expiry date. We need cricketing behavior on the field. Pray BCCI has the guts to change the current status.
Not the sandpaper incident. The 3 players were severely punished and the Australian people agreed with it. Steve Smith was just the captain at the time and did not know about what was going on. They were banned and were never to be in leadership positions. We have similar incidents with the mint sweets in england and no one was punished. We have the betting on matches. India the home of sports betting and phone scams is throwing stones in a glass house. The one day international finals had India doctoring wickets to suite the home team. Is that cheating or do we look the other way? Before neutral umpires the umpires in India were being influenced by the crowd and opponents were being given out with ball heading down leg side. Is that cheating?
Come on. Smith the captain knew about it ( it wouldn’t have been the first time) and did NOT do a damn thing about it. Guilty by omission. The punishment dished out wss pathetic, only one fall guy was made to take the rap, rest were gently rapped on the knuckles with a feather. Aussies have been cheating for a very long time. Cheating and sledging are the national sports. Sandpaper was only the tip of the iceberg,
Totally agree. No one was more punished than the Aussies for the Sandpaper incident. Smith was in his prime. He never returned to the same form. Aussies agreed "if you do the crime then do the time", The booing of Koli was all started by Kolli by bumping a young teenager on debut. And not getting the right punishment for it. He can dish out but can't take it. Anyone calling Koli as a hero should know that Hero's aren't bullies. Bullies are cowards
Tendulkar was suspended once for ball tampering, but the Indian fan base conveniently forgets that. He was caught on camera digging his fingernail into the seam of the ball. He got suspended for one match. Pathetic. Indian players and fans referencing sandpaper is hypocrisy of the highest order. At least the ACB took the ball tampering offence more seriously and banned their own players for one year independently of the ICC's recommendations. Ball tampering by all nations is rife in cricket but it's usually ignored unless it's blatant. We saw it most recently in England during the Ashes. They couldn't tamper with it so they just swapped it for a new one which unquestionably altered the outcome of that match. As usual nothing was done. Hypocrites the lot of them. The Australians were wrong in what they did but at least they admitted it and accepted their punishments honourably. As far as I'm concerned Australia definitely has the high ground when it comes to the issue of cheating.
@ Aussies have been cheated for decades and sandpaper is only the tip of the iceberg. Sledging is a national pastime. Cheating is ok if Aussies do it but how dare Indians do it ?? This moral outrage by Aussies is pathetic. Underarm bowling anyone? Underarm stinks to high heaven. 😂
The question is, is India ready to drop or bench drawcard players? Is their industry able to withstand the temporary drop in interest and consumption when these idols ultimately make way for the next generation? And when they do, will India as a whole be able to resist repeating the same mistake of putting the new talent on a pedestal?
I don't think most Australians cared about any of the things the media got upset about. I'm an average fan and I've always thought Virat is a bit of a tosser so I expect that stuff from him but I respected his talent and I think his aggression singlehandedly changed India's success rate in Australia. Don't forget - until Virat came along India had never won a test series in Australia. I was very disappointed in the booing by the Aussie crowd. I blame the media for their constant drumming up of controversy when the actual cricket was amazing.
Yes. Why do you select the superstars and then cry ? How many who have played domestic, did well ,selected and sitting on the bench waiting for a chance 😮 bowlers and batsman. Didn't Prasidh Krishna do well in the last match?? He is a fine bowler , waiting and waiting 😊
The game needs good Characters. This is not reality TV. Youngsters are watching and learning. Kohli showed he was a bully rather than a Hero as some stupid fans claim him to be. He was booed because he was not punished enough for bumping into a teenager on debut. The sandpaper incident - no one has been ever punished more severely than the 3 Aussies. In that Smith was in his prime form. He never got back to the same form. The Aussies accepted the punishment. A great man is humble, that is true class. Kohli is not that
Virath Kohli is the maestro of the game with his antics with bat in the past and with action in the past 5 years. RCB earns a load and BCCI has never been in loss just because Virath is underperforming. He may not make people rich but he makes a huge amount of money for BCCI.

Does anyone remember the "minties" on the pitch?? The English were accused of using minties (mint chewies) to polish the ball. What did the Aussies do?? They left a few minties near the stumps during break in a test. What did the Aussie press say; nothing. They thought it was very clever and funny!! Grow up guys.
India destroyed the game with heavy BCCI influence. It became very mediocre because other than the big 3, everyone else is getting a fixed amount regardless. So why improve and compete?

India can't rely on Bumrah because to be honest. Bumrah doesn't look that fit and he's 31. He's got a big butt and big thighs and I don't see his action as sustainable to an old age. He's already not finishing a test due to back spasms at 31. He may be the bowler he is now until 33-34. And then he will decline rapidly. Bumrah is the bowler to try and lead India to test championship in the next cycle only. He won't be their strike weapon in the cycle after that. Hazlewood and Starc are 34 now and they are both towards the end of their lethal career and now will have to bowl smarter at a point. But both at 34 seem to be much more athletic people than Bumrah is now.
Super star, super sport, super heros, super power, super India, super Bharat Everything is super in India and this is called superiority complex wnich actually originates from our inferiority complex as we are not good in anything whatsoever
Full of overated not good enough players compare to australian. The what so called King and Prince are not good enough to be called King and Prince. The reason that they lose is so simple they are not good enough compare to Australian.
They really missed Shami. Team selection cost them really, because Australia were still beatable, but as well as carrying Rohit and (sort of) Kohli, they had Reddy and Sundar. Reddy, despite his century, was an all-rounder who they didn't trust to bowl, and the pitches didn't suit Sundar. Even Nathan Lyon could hardly get a bowl, let alone a second spinning all-rounder. With better team selection, India probably would have won
Country with 1.4 b and huge financial advantage is treating other nations as colonies….country was a colony and has nit recovered from its thinking. Shame really…..and things will get worse for sure …no other country behaves like this in sports! Time to grow up and perhaps be decent humans!

We need to let go Sharma and Kohli asap, blood young batters without fear and in the bowling dept. look for lethal pace like Mayank Yadav to prop up the Bumrah threat.

Blame our public who treat them as superstars regardless of their performance. Blame our IPL for showing millions which makes test match unattractive for players. Why would the players put their body on line ( exception Bumrah)
Gavaskar commented India cannot win with out laspreet He played now but lost series And white wash against newzeland Mafch fixing can’t be excluded and indifference had enough of cricket cricket isn’t just stamina but needs sklll Australia had both Kohli is unbecoming Take defeat in right splrit
Kohli in the last 5 years has averaged less than 30 … that’s a loooong rope for anyone, he should be dropped immediately and asked to play Ranji if he wants to be reconsidered for the future
Jaiswal did alright too. Wasn't just Bumrah
Gambir has been the best thing for Australian cricket, keep him as coach. Now we have lots of silverware in the trophy cabinet, India got none.🤣 They got totally whipped by New Zealand at home. Kohli leaves Australia with a heavy series loss and no respect. Bye Bye😂Come on Aussies Come on Come on!!💪✌
First post is now officially same as other media outlets. Shame on you
This kind of discussion is unnecessary. Why Ashwin left. How Rohit was tortured for last 18 months. Hardik pandya issue in MI captaincy by Ambanis. The politics behind is never Broughtout in detail. What is the truth nobody knows. Why vihari left out. The cricket is dominated by mumbai, delhi, and to some extent Punjab and karnataka. Other states play but are dummies in the hand BCCI money spining network. Who will fight with BCCi, when IPL giving money to all other lower class players. BCCI is a politicians paradise. How Rayudu left out earlier
Gg should hv bowled for injured bumarah. GG loses respect in the public.unnessarily the public are pulled into these discussions. 140 crore public we dnt hv a good batter and bowler.
Starc in particular looks really strong atm. That's the best I've seen him bowl for a couple of years. Fast, accurate, and swung it around like mad.
Biggest wastes in the team are
Rohith Sharma
Virat Kohli
Mohammed Siraj
Shubman Gill
superstar pr by non cricket fans that to get money to tweet is breaking all law
Great news
Super star, super sport, super heros, super power, super India, super Bharat
Everything is super in India and this is called superiority complex wnich actually originates from our inferiority complex as we are not good in anything whatsoever
King is king. How much kohli has given to India. India owes him
what a joke
Looking flabbylous.
Kohli should retire 👍
Except Bunrah we didn’t even have anyone to be part of glorious India XI
Rest all are just time oass
💪😘👍
It was Bumrah vs australia😊
Agar tu Rupa pahanega toh Rupa kya pahanegi? Kuch nahi.....😮
Full of overated not good enough players compare to australian. The what so called King and Prince are not good enough to be called King and Prince. The reason that they lose is so simple they are not good enough compare to Australian.
No they are good but not thir prime anymore specially kohli rohit in test
Get rid of Kohli from the test team ... keep him in the shorter formats
If you ask me about the Indian cricket team
All show offs
All
They feel no one is bigger or better than them
Full of nothing
Virat aur Rohit ki halat item girl jaise ho gayi, film me kuch kam nahi karna sirf 5-10 min ke liye haziri lagana
With better team selection, India probably would have won
current indian politics is corrupting cricket as well.
Rupharamani.jilookings{oquit..goodnight.goodankaring.
Country with 1.4 b and huge financial advantage is treating other nations as colonies….country was a colony and has nit recovered from its thinking. Shame really…..and things will get worse for sure …no other country behaves like this in sports! Time to grow up and perhaps be decent humans!
