Hearing her struggles, the empathy you had for her, helped me realize that I was doing the right thing in my life and I couldn't let my ex husband or anyone keep me so low. I loved antm growing up, wishing I could be beautiful, and hearing how real and human the ladies are made me feel so good about myself at a time when I desperately needed it. I remember when Lisa told tyra she knew Nik Pace wasn't gonna win cycle 5 because they couldn't have another black winner after Naima. That tells me the type of person she is. It's giving Karen energy.
When cycle 5 was going on, a lot of people were saying that, and she was right. At the beginning of the cycle, I predicted that either Kyle or Nicole would win. After having Eva and Naima win, there was no way that Nik was going to win. I'm not taking up for Lisa, but again, she wasn't the only one saying it.
I love that you do thorough interviews, and give guests the space to answer fully and authentically. It's the only way to do justice to the complexity of the topics at hand. You're not a shock jock or a tabloid journalist, that's what makes you so great - and probably why so many of the guests felt comfortable coming on the show.
You tell them, Oliver! Thank you for hosting these conversations with the ANTM contestants. Its nice to hear from them and where they are now. Also, I knew there was something up when Bianca had nothing nice to say about Lisa. I found it very weird outing other contestants from her cyles.
All this reading of Lisa and you didn't even begin to scratch the surface of her using BLM and activism as an ego boost and weaponizing them against other contestants she didn't like. They made me want to be friends with Ebony Haith and Cory Wade, and I got my life from that one you did with Amanda Swafford and her son.
Thank you for doing the ANTM chats. Not only did they bring the tea but they brought a whole new lore to ANTM. I don’t understand why Lisa keeps mentioning you. I believe it as been a year or two since the two of you had a falling out and it seems she can’t move on. And not only that but it left a bad taste in my mouth how Alexandria Everett withdrew her interview with you. Lisa claimed that she would bring Alexandria on a platform with her instead to share Alexandria’s story. But nothing has happened since to the best of my knowledge.

Thanks to you, I see the models in a different light, one they didn't get to shine from the confines of a contrived narrative. Nicole & Amanda from cycle 3, Jayla from 5, Mollie Sue from 6, and Alisha from 18 were standouts for me. This is why we can't have nice things I'm so sick of ppl if you don't like it move on to something else bc the rest of us live for these antm chats and I love these bc they feel more human like ppl I'm friends with and that is a testament to Oliver's talent. The thing with Lisa, to me, is that sure I personally didn't completly enjoy her on the show but, when she shared her experioance with the show and fandom I always said that was her experiance. However, the first mayor red flag I spotted with these chats was when Mr. Jay brought Allison to his Cycle 17 chat, and Lisa went in on her in a IG post (If I remember it right) and she mixied it with BLM and other things. Bianca touched upon it as well. And then I never saw this, but when I saw Oliver's chat with Laura (13 & 17) and they touch upon that Lisa attacked Laura and her kid on another post or whatever I was like: The F??? Again, Lisa has every right to have a negative feeling against the show and production but she seem to forget that people have other views on the show and/or Tyra for that matter. But, she seem to freak out and lash out towards people if they don't agree with her to a 100%. And what Laura said in her interview really stuck with me, when it comes to Lisa: "I know she's doing some really good things, I'm not discredit that, but I think sometimes they're more about the love she recives for doing it... But I also think she belives in it too so I don't want to discredit that. But don't attack my child on the internet, cuz you are gonna get blocked." That was a lot lol! 😅 But, I do wish Oliver one day does a tour or whatever and meet some more of the contestans he interviewed! Like a final FINAL video with this ANTM chapter! I'm honestly not sure whether most TH-camrs actually give a damn about the hate or if it is more to attract viewers, likes and new subscribers. I'm sure Oliver knows he's great and that his content is really entertaining, so going for Lisa in the same manner she did will do absolutely nothing but attract people who want to see the drama unfold. Thanks to you, I see the models in a different light, one they didn't get to shine from the confines of a contrived narrative. Nicole & Amanda from cycle 3, Jayla from 5, Mollie Sue from 6, and Alisha from 18 were standouts for me. Oh and let's not forget Brittany from cycle 8 including an illustration of Jael in her childrens' book. Actually I feel like a LOT of the contestants had amazing interviews with you. Your chats are not only healing for the contestants involved but also for us, the fans, because we (in some cases) disliked someone for years, but the interviews opened up new perspectives and helped us get over a lot of things.

The thing with Lisa, to me, is that sure I personally didn't completly enjoy her on the show but, when she shared her experioance with the show and fandom I always said that was her experiance. However, the first mayor red flag I spotted with these chats was when Mr. Jay brought Allison to his Cycle 17 chat, and Lisa went in on her in a IG post (If I remember it right) and she mixied it with BLM and other things. Bianca touched upon it as well. And then I never saw this, but when I saw Oliver's chat with Laura (13 & 17) and they touch upon that Lisa attacked Laura and her kid on another post or whatever I was like: The F???
Again, Lisa has every right to have a negative feeling against the show and production but she seem to forget that people have other views on the show and/or Tyra for that matter. But, she seem to freak out and lash out towards people if they don't agree with her to a 100%. And what Laura said in her interview really stuck with me, when it comes to Lisa: "I know she's doing some really good things, I'm not discredit that, but I think sometimes they're more about the love she recives for doing it... But I also think she belives in it too so I don't want to discredit that. But don't attack my child on the internet, cuz you are gonna get blocked."
That was a lot lol! 😅 But, I do wish Oliver one day does a tour or whatever and meet some more of the contestans he interviewed! Like a final FINAL video with this ANTM chapter!

I'm honestly not sure whether most TH-camrs actually give a damn about the hate or if it is more to attract viewers, likes and new subscribers. I'm sure Oliver knows he's great and that his content is really entertaining, so going for Lisa in the same manner she did will do absolutely nothing but attract people who want to see the drama unfold. I loved making the band!!!! My sister and I watched it together when I was little lol. Would be so excited for those chats. So curious to hear how things were behind the scenes especially in contrast to other reality tvs shows from that time. The opening song was a bop. Why would people complain about getting more content?Your videos were great and I was grateful you are able to have such long interviews . There is a crazy concept called watch part of it now take a break and come back and finish watching later if it’s too much for you to watch at one time. You made my day during the pandemic. People also need to realize when it's their place to talk and when to STFU. As a Black woman from the South, I got your insults. People outside of the community really need to learn when they are a guest and when to walk away. TH-cam gives soooooo many Black ppl a platform that soooo many people like myself are looking for. People don't have to wash away every bit of their personality and culture to be acceptable. If they don't like it, they can watch the stuff they do like. This is my favorite channel for ANTM content since he goes right to the sources. I love how the interviews feel so conversational, and the way he makes his guests feel comfortable. Not everyone has those people skills, he truly has a gift (many gifts, actually!)
