Thank you so much for noticing! I love bringing underrated and lesser-known gems to the forefront to make things more interesting. I appreciate your support! 🤗
Hey Joao, nice list. That old books thing you said about the Guerlain is something I find really comforting. I also get that vibe from Histoires de parfum 1740- do you like that one?
I am fascinated by your reviews, and I wanted to tell you that I have already received my KHADLAJ OUD POURE MYSTICAL INDIAN perfume and I am happy for this purchase, I would like if it is possible that you would recommend us more perfumes from this house, such as FURSAN, to show it to you the other day on the social network, thank you
Thank you so much for your support, and I’m thrilled you’re enjoying your Khadlaj perfume! I’ll definitely explore more fragrances from the house like Fursan and share my thoughts soon. Stay tuned!
Boas João ,dentro dos perfumes que mais me encantaram neste ano foi o Miller Harris Staccato ,mandei vir às " cegas " até por sugestão do youtuber Sebastien .Aconselho ao João !!Abraço e continuação de excelentes vídeos.
Great question! Hermès’ violet notes can evoke a similar vibe to the original Fahrenheit with their green and slightly floral touch, but Hermès often leans softer and more refined.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m currently based in Lithuania, though I am from Portugal, but I love that my channel connects with fragrance lovers all around the world! ❤️
80% of fragrances are NOT worth buying anymore at this point. They are all reformulated and weak. I am disgusted with the fragrance industry like so many others. It's all due to GREED and please don't fall victim to this.
I understand your frustration-it’s hard to ignore how reformulations, new generic smelling releases and rising prices have affected the industry. That’s why I try to highlight fragrances that still offer quality and value amidst the noise. I believe there will be a market correction, as it's getting pretty much unsustainable and saturated with thousands of fragrances being released every year where the majority of them are forgettable
Agree. There’s a lot of crap out there disguised as niche. There are truly very few niche house worth a try. At the end I ended up relying on the classic houses like Guerlain, Chanel, Floris, Hermes … and vintages
Yes I totally agree .esp since discovering the middle eastern perfumes. Paris corner do clones for most Frederick malles perfume and they do them great .esp the moon its strong and long lasting. But I have many originals mainly penhaligans and amuage . But after realising that amuage are middle eastern then I fell down the middle eastern rabbit hole ,but I love 90 percent of them ..have you tried oud maracusa? Now that is an animalic oud and strong but I am refering to french avenue azzure oud .I'm female and if I'm honest it is a bit masculine for me to handle despite enjoying many unisex fragrances..I only have one gurlain and it has to be the worst performing one I have it's great upon spraying but half an hour later it's gone . unfortunately most designer perfumes are bad and total waste of money. it is just brands ripping people off ! And middle eastern dupes are in most cases perform better .
Hope smells absolutely nothing like Promise, I thought it remarkable and it occupies a unique space in the Desert Gems collection. Are we expected to hate any new FM's at this point?
Actually, I found that Hope smells very close like Promise, almost as if it's a rebranding exercise with few tweaks, the first being more versatile and elegant than the latter. But hey, that's the beauty of subjective noses! Just because it's a new release from FM doesn't mean is automatically bad. But this year, to MY nose, both Acne Studios and Hope were very poor.

I love the diversity of fragrances you showcase. Some are never showcased on YT. I appreciate that.

Personally, I prefer Oud Pure Wild Indonesian to Oud Pure Mystical Indian.
Would you say that the Hermes violet has similarities with the original Fahrenheit?

The big houses are not worth the money for their private collection
But many smaller perfumers still produce lots of great stuff
Agreed also it's so embarrassing when clones smell better than the original.
