The Greatest Christmas Blessing on that show would had been for Jack to still be there with the others! Even if they had to recast would had been better than killing off a main star and before any darts fly LOL there has been a lot more fans that have said they would keep watching even if there was a recast than wanted the character Jack killed off!! They lost me! Only Hallmark Christmas movie I won't be watching as well as not watching their regular shows anymore. Something special about the show? You got to be kidding! Use to be but not anymore. There was nothing special about a widow losing their husband if they have the kind of love that Jack and Elizabeth had. Wow, happy days within a year of loving a spouse? Oh, I know some do move on that quickly but many don't when they have that kind of love. It's not easily replaced if it ever is.
So now Lori and Jack are the main stars?!?!? Kill off the MAIN STAR and then push the other MAIN STAR into the background! Jack and Elizabeth were the main stars of the show, and they ruined the show, so I won’t be watching it any longer. No magic left!! And no desire to watch Lori as the main star now!
There is nothing they can do to get me to watch either unless they bring back Jack as in it was someone else that died. You are so right they killed off a "MAIN STAR" and after dragging out for 5 seasons before they even got married I sure have no desire to watch anymore not even their Christmas movie! It will be the only Hallmark Christmas movie I won't be watching in many years.
I hope this is their last season. They really betrayed us in Season 5. The show is now a train wreck. And it should be Erin Krakow and Lori Loughlin as the main stars.
