This is the paradox of so many modern women. They don't want to cook or clean, but don't consider that if they don't, they are implicitly trying to force their partner into doing what they don't want to do and trying to push them into filling the gender role they don't want.
They're both lonely and looking for someone to pass the time with. Girl, don't let that man turn your world upside down. More friends than a couple sis. This man is looking for you to raise him in a way.
I always find it hilarious when these people in their early 20s talk about relationships and how things should or shouldn't be - what do they know about relationships? Seriously. They don't know yet how it's like to be with someone, when you stay with them long-term. All these good sounding rules and mottos are out of the window! Just wait and see.
Head of household=why not both? Have humans lost the ability to compromise? The ability to play on each other's strengths? the ability to rely on one another? the ability to adapt and support others? I fear for humanity. each day that passes it's as if logic/critical thinking is becoming a thing of the past.

Don’t think we have to conform to society’s wife/husband roles but having structured roles and a family is important so I agree with him. And I don’t believe he meant it in a negative way.
As much as I'm not a fan of traditional gender roles being an expectation, I can really respect that this guy comes from a family that taught him that to be a good man is to be a provider. If that's a value that's important to his sense of worth and identity, and if he doesn't have any desire to control his partner by pressuring her out of a breadwinner role and into a domestic role, then that's great. I also thought it was great that she was really clear about her position on traditional gender roles; she seems like a strong woman who knows her worth and what she deserves in a relationship. Love it!
This girl created a very negative narrative around women that cook and clean and all that stuff. Some women choose to be that way, and every woman has a choice, Lets not forget that.
Iman Najeeb she says she doesn’t want to. Other people can, she specifically wouldn’t like to. The point is that we can each decide for ourselves and that it shouldn’t be expected of us. Don’t you agree?

they're so adorable !! when they both said that they want to help others...like wow I'm in love
He reminds me of Big Sean
Both the characters are so genuine and relatable!! I would love to have them as my 4 am morning friends to have deep soothing conversations ⚘
First thought.... no I don't think they will date
Yh I didn't feel it either. She seems more mature than he is
Very smart and beautiful couple. Hope they end up together 🤞
I love how chill they are❤️
I just love how chilled and layed back he was , definitely need a follow on on these two
“I believe in lust at first sight”now thats facts
She is trying to not be her mother. When she was talking about *why* she doesn't want to cook/do laundry she referenced how that's what her mom did and you can see in her face that she may view her as weak or passive. Then @9:05 you can see that going against the family expectations is important for her to reiterate. I wonder what the resentment really stems from...
He has such a nice smile😊
She’s beautiful
If she can't cook and doesn't want to cook, damn son you are wasting precious time with her. At some point he's gonna want that and it will be a deal breaker.
LoL I just realized today that this channel was not Jubilee doing these segments.
I discovered that last year and I was mad at it 😂😂😂
It doesn’t matter who “runs” the house, either both people can contribute equally or unequally, or one person can if they don’t work. 🤷♀️
Someone needs to lead. Kind of like a ship. You need someone to take control and lead the ship.
@@s.boundless3163 Wouldn’t it be better if there were simply two leaders instead of one? There should never be ‘the head of the household’ but there should always be ‘heads of the household’. It’s not a big deal if a woman supports a man and a man supports a woman. Stand behind each other, support each other, it’s not a woman’s job, it’s both couple’s jobs.
@@dwaynewilliams3576 you can't have two drivers driving the car. You can't have two pilots flying the plane. One has to be the leader.

@@dwaynewilliams3576 and that's why over 53% marriages end in divorces in US with other 75% of them initiated by women. Clearly there is something wrong in the equal families you are suggesting.
WHHHYYYYYYY is there an ad in this? That definitely could have waited until the absolute end. Thanks a lot soul pancake :) nevertheless, amazing individual people💛 I hope they actually went on a date
Kev it’s not about the ad, it’s the ad placement. You didn’t read but thank you for your unwarranted comment.
Kev I just wanna know why you’re still responding to me..
I love when I see black people on here

He kinda look like the stable version of Flightreacts 😭😂
Yo you guys should really make a playlist or something. I'm trying to binge but it's annoying that I can't find them all in order in one place
Salma Eliela i mean like they have a playlist just search for "tell my story soulpancake" and it’s the first thing that pops up
@@jessyke7023 oh yeah I see what you mean now! I was thinking more of that thing, you know how on top of some videos you'll have the number of the season and the episode and stuff ? That's more what I was thinking of
This is the paradox of so many modern women. They don't want to cook or clean, but don't consider that if they don't, they are implicitly trying to force their partner into doing what they don't want to do and trying to push them into filling the gender role they don't want.
Why was I nervous about their decisions? Lol
Omg there actually really cute together!
Sooooo good! They both were so cute. Can't wait to see what between them!
They’re so cute together
how did you comment this 2 weeks ago?
Be tty for me it says 3 weeks ago
@@cupidslove4376 now it says 3 weeks for me too
Be tty if you get the link you can watch the videos early before they actually release them
@@luisap962 where do you get the likn from?
She's really pretty
Can y'all make sure you keep us updated on these two. I need to know EVERYTHING.
I'm not shipping them.
.
.Maybe just friends.
Isaac Burgos they look cute together as a couple but I don’t yep same I don’t ship them together they will look better together as friends
Girl needs to chill, we don’t cook no more. Ever heard of ubereats ? Smh
Alexis Rivas 😭
Lmaoooo
She is pretty.
So cute! I wish the best for them!
I’m very confused as to how she heard cooking for him out of him saying he feels the women should show a certain type of love to the child!
What's wrong with cooking for your hubby or boyfriend? 😏 I'll cook when I can. No big deal!
I’m a twin too and I’m the oldest. Yes, the two minutes count
This was a good episode I didn't know what their final decision was going to be though but I felt the vibe
Love her jacket!
Girl I feel you. I just been swiping too.
SHE IS GORGEOUS BTW
Head of household=why not both? Have humans lost the ability to compromise? The ability to play on each other's strengths? the ability to rely on one another? the ability to adapt and support others?
I fear for humanity. each day that passes it's as if logic/critical thinking is becoming a thing of the past.
She was definitely digging him. Totally want to see them together 😍
I don’t even see them being friends tbh lmao. I think their views are way too far off from each other. She’s very non traditional.. seems a little uptight like she’s not really a jokester. He seems really cool and funny. But the way she is isn’t bad at all. But i just don’t think they’d be friends let alone a relationship.
I’m so excited that they both said they would!
I was hoping :)
I was happy when he said curried chicken instead of "ChicKen CuRry".
Exactly. It's curry /curried chicken. Adjective before noun. Like fried chicken instead of chicken fried.
Chicken baked
Chicken roast.....its just wrong
Druzii yess
And then they “corrected” it in the typing 🤔
@@ImMikeyIRock9 yea, the disrespect.
This is why people from Guyana and Jamaica have beef
Don’t think we have to conform to society’s wife/husband roles but having structured roles and a family is important so I agree with him. And I don’t believe he meant it in a negative way.
I expect good things from you two! It will work if you want it too. :)
Sooo goood! They should definitely get to know each other more! Even if they don’t fall in love I think they’d learn so much from one another

I’ve met a lot of interesting and creative people that say they don’t have a creative bone in their body or that they aren’t creative at all, when most of the time they haven’t figured out their creative thing. Many of them I already know what they would naturally be talented at and would be good at if they worked at it. And there’s others who create but don’t feel like their stuff is any good.
Still waiting for the time somebody gets the name right... ;-)
I think they would be a GREAT couple!! He is very well spoken and smart! Good for them 😊
I’m just waiting for someone to get the other persons name right

And he low key look and sound like big sean😭
Eww, she doesn’t wanna cook for her family that badly ?? disgusting
I feel like they didn't really get to know each other very well. I know some things are cut out of these videos but they just didn't seem to get very deep.
As someone who grew up in a very matriarchal household, I don’t think it matters all that much.
