Oleg, suppose I shot a Colorchecker with a film camera that has Portra 400 or Provia 100F. Could I use the TIFF of the colorchecker film image to create a 3D LUT for future digital images? So that I could shoot digital all I want and could get the "exact" colors and tones of the film image onto my digital files.

It combines curves matching (with degrade / rgb grade sliders), a/b grid matching for saturation and luminance curve for contrast matching, all in one dialog. Curves matching is still available as separate function.
+Tino Solomon for curves reference can be any quality, as it get averaged severely. For color match mid quality images are better, as color distribution is quite detailed. 1000 pixels by longest side are enough for sure. Jpg is also ok

Лут это все таки изменение картинки, а не сама картинка. Так что чтобы пытаться угадать измененя, нужны как минимум до и после.
Is this new? Previous videos used the curves windows where you drag a reference image onto the curves, does this replace that?
