That's not a Reset Button, it's a Volume Control Knob. The "Joy Stick Ports" Are where the Keyboard plug in. The Original Computer Expansion was way different, it had a real keyboard and not a Chicklet Keyboard and the Intellivison sat inside of it.

I have one of these in the stack of old computer stuff with various add-ons such as the "printer" (really, a heat sensitive paper printer that is about the same as a receipt printer).
I did change my diet recently - less junk food and soda + more vegetables and exercise - but I can't ever be 100% sure on TH-cam comments if I'm being ribbed. I may have lost a few pounds but I've got plenty more to go!

You are correct. The keyboard plugs are molded to fit the Intellivision II. They plug right in the top of the unit.
