This has always been my favorite part from the entire game, just because of the music. It makes you feel so fucking heroic, connor finally got his hidden blades, he was now a "real" assassin and he is he immediatly has to put his life on the line for a stranger. Might not have been the most story heavy part, but I loved it nevertheless.!

But honestly, as simple as it was, this soundtrack was good enough that the river rescue is one of the most memorable moments for me in an AC game. I just love simplicity, and despite this being such a simple mission it had such intricate emotions and vibes to it that I felt like I was literally in the game trying to save this dude from drowning lmao. Ik it sounds stupid to say it’s so memorable, but I seriously just have a genuine love for intricacy hiding behind simplicity, if that makes sense 😅
@@Chisel1337they also put a stupid amount of time developing that like 3 minute mission. I agree it is definitely one of the most iconic moments in AC3
