I love it when his 'private life' personality slips through his 'public life' personality. The actor does such a good job giving his character depth with subtle facial expressions. That's hard to do with a character that is supposed to have such a serious face most of the time. He really prefers a simple life, just Shan Shan, it's just he has an obligation to attend functions etc. Being with Shan Shan is like being at home.

Everytime I watch again and again this Drama.. I deeply understand the story.... Shan Shan portrays her role Excellently as Shan Shan... the Innocent Simple Girl from the Village... The Boss fall for her because of her Simplicity... Not Competing him .. Honest Girl and shows real feelings inside her.
I love Shan Shan! I just finished seeing her in "Our Glorious Time". She is so cute and funny in this drama. I am just waiting for her to let our ML have it with the condescending remarks he makes.😊
Not exactly. It's his scheme to get her win the title Miss Elegance so that he can dance the first dance with her. Also, in the novel, she becomes bold and talks funny under the influence of alcohol, so he tricks her to drink the whole evening (clearly the drama missed to convey that point, but still you are expected to come to the conclusion - out of the blue - that he was enjoying himself seeing her drinking). Ironicly, he just has no idea that later on he gets bite back by his own trick, when she refuses him out of drunkeness.

其實這部劇假如沒有男主入戲演出，單靠女主精讚的演出可能也不能說完美。畢竟這是愛情的劇。而且這部女配也很出色。只能說女主開運了。看懂了，人生就如此笑笑就好。
