Abraxas Platform is a unique space battle experience not often seen in Battlefront 2. It sets itself apart from the repetitive vanilla battles using a ton of custom starfighters, custom unit models, a beautiful background as well as a completely custom built pirate space station.

the pirate ships are called uglies.
They're made from different parts of different fighters. Example: the X-wing cockpit with the Tie fighter wings.
That's a TIE wing, I believe.

I like the feel of the pirates. Between the uglies and the haphazard space station, you really get the impression they were just throwing whatever worked together

Almost all those ships are from legends, damn I love those aircrafts!

Pickles og the star wars universe is seperated in 2 parts: legends and canon. legends is the expanded universe things like books, video games etc. that disney threw into the trash can after they bought star wars. canon is the real star wars which is supported by disney with the movies. the only thing that canon and legends have the same are the og 6 movies.

That would be pretty fun.
Kryo actually made a video of a mod that has all four factions battle it out for control of a map, colored red, blue, white, and yellow as a team conquest. However you can only choose from two of the vanilla factions at a time depending on what era you choose. It looks like a lot of fun.

I think Star Wars should’ve covered the concept of people being freelance pilots, considering it was a field lots of folks could do. And I assume you’d have custom gear for it too
One of the coolest custom space mods I have seen! Amazing detail and unique ships!
The uglies are a great addition, but in MY humble opinion, its a lot easier and more fun to play the Empire in this one.
The X-Tie doesn't reload the torpedos all the time, the transport stinks health wise, and...the other ships don't have bombs to destroy hardpoints.
Still creatively awesome and why i still play it.
did you know that if you go into the pirate side and turn on free camera mode and fly up to the pirates base you will find statues of 4 dark jedi and they hold signs theres written "follow the falcon , find the dark one" in aurabesh then when you follow the falcon go into the fake command menu or what ever its called and turn on common commands than fly very high (better with a little ship) than fly over damage barrier in front of the black hole because if you fly instantly to it you get killed instantly if you have done everything right then you can fly into the black hole without getting damage and then you will be able to see a little hangar (a little part of the poliss massa map) where you can land in but its pretty hard to land into it but its possible when you are inside the hidden base you will find the dark jedi but watchout he attacks you , always you can defeat him too when you look for the second hangar you will find the dark jedi interceptor .
but there is a problem you can get into the starfighter but can not get it out of the hangar because the hangar is to small and you will always automatically land again .

Those pirates/mercenaries must have been high when they made those tie variations.
I wish some custom maps had this level of detail to them. Maybe some higher res textures or more supply caches laying around.
