Thankyou for this great video. Can't believe I drive trains past there everyday and live fairly local yet didn't know about Frank's. Will definitely be on my radar now on rare days I get bikes out.
I got chatting to Jon at the Copdock Bike Show last weekend. I’m hoping to get down to Franks this week for breakfast so the timing of your blog was impeccable. You also have a new subscriber 👍
Great watch that! I see you filming there at the last Franks night, thats my black speed triple at 22:50 aswell 😎, Always a good meet every other Tuesday night, never miss it 😁.
I will not go anywhere else. Frank is my place to go, even if I don't need anything done to the bike. And even when I did, I felt like home. I really like his couches ... comfy AF
You got my subscription with this excellent video of a great business. Thanks to you I have a reason to visit Colchester. Thank you for sharing. Ride safe. Peace
Have used them for servicing my R9T after being disillusioned from my main dealership. I won’t go anywhere else now. Great service and customer relationship. Good luck 👍
Thank you for sharing Deimante, It is great seeing a successful friendly place to hang out and get your bike serviced. Most places I find are ran by jerks and are only getting business because there are so few shops around to chose from.
This is the way to go...as far away from corporate and corporations that is humanly possible not just in motorcycling but in all walks of life...humanity may then stand a chance of escaping the clutches of tyranny.
You nailed it. This is OUR WORLD. The psychopathic elites think they own it, and the powers that shouldn’t be think they can tell us what to do, and what not to do. That all needs to be ended. So: No more mandates, ULEZ or climate lies. More independent businesses, and more independently minded human beings. Peace
Did you finish lunch ... yum yum Quit a concept ... customer service ... hard to find nowdays along with pride in doing ones work. Great find and interview D.
If it's got Ducati written on it, Dei will sit on it !! Good video (again) and very well put together. Entertaining, with a brilliant music choice. Thx.
Must try Franks. I love the idea of the bike sizes and food sizes! And keeping prices accessible in the true biker tradition. Very nice. 125 with fries for me! Great vid as usual.
I loved that idea too. So as everything else about the place. My 50k subs/birthday ride out starts at Franks on 23rd of September. Might be an excuse for you to come over ☺️
I've never seen a MH900e in real life, that's a dream bike for me. I'm so impressed with that place! I'd be in asking for a 125cc breakfast (with sweet potato fries) and a job please 😂. The variety of stock is totally my thing. Great video of a superb place and team. Envious that it's your local shop and not mine! 👌👍👍
That’s my compensation for not having your roads, your views, your water, your air, your drivers, your friendly neighbourhood, your peace and quiet and glorious sunsets and sunrises. And a dog.
@@tomboyabit😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 easier accents for you to understand but. No midges. And skinny sweet potato fries extra crispy for 2 quid! Best street name ever too.
Good evening Tomboy_a_bit. I was only talking about a ride to Clacton or Colchester Zoo with my grandson today. So Frank's could well be on the agenda too. Great interviews girl. But as they are all bikers, what would you expect? Really enjoyable vlog, thanks. Enjoy the weather and safe cruising till next time 👍😊.
This is my kinda bike shop, it's on my visiting list for the next early summer, when i'm in UK again. I'm a bit surprised you left no link or address belowin the description.
That's nothing new, I remember going to bike shops in the 80's, asking the mechanic for advice, which he gave, accompanied by much micky taking, and I could get a cup of tea, well provided I made a round for everybody who worked there. 😁All joking aside, looks like a great bike shop, some of those bikes would figure high up in my dream bike collection, might have to pay it a visit, if just for an All Day Breakfast.
Franks looks like a nice friendly, unpretentious place, nice to see. Perhaps they welcome "not" riders too. Is that another Suzuki you are riding at the end?
Franks Address: Turkey Cock Lane, Colchester
Colchester is lucky to have such a cool place on it's door step. Great video, thanks!

Looks great, on my list for a visit 👍
Enjoyed this video, lots…..great to see the shop and the banter was great, too….
Brilliant episode D. Bringing back customer service with style.
They treat their customers how they’d like to be treated. Very simple yet most powerful for success in my opinion.

Frank's is an absolutely brilliant place and always feel very welcome 😊 extremely helpful staff and great bike nights 👍 best value for money food 🍔🏍🇬🇧
As you said. "tics all the boxes". I think I saw a CX500 bobber in the crowd. Loved it ! 😎
😉👍 Thanks for the video .
Wow what a great place , and the owner looks like he puts customer service and happiness first, just Awesome.

Been to Franks quite a few times on bike night. Always had a good burger and all very friendly there.

I've never noticed that cool crow tattoo. Beautiful work. Frank's looks like the place to be.
It’s my favourite one ❤️
Great report T! Frank’s is on the list, when I get the chance to visit England!

What a great place, love his Italian collection of machines ,,,and the bonus...lovely food .
Wonderful place to add to the destination map if you’re in the area.
I don't live in the UK ,,, but if I am up Colchester way I will most definitely drop in to Franks.

Definitely can add Franks to the Colchester Zoo trip. It’s on the same side of a town so you don’t have to go cross it.
Cool spot
Hey tomboy ! Good video 👍✌️
That Bimoto was lovely
That white Ducati looks great on you

Id like to see you test ride that beautiful 750 laverda 😍😍😍
I offered test rider’s services first time I met Jon. 😂

Oh yes, some very nice bikes, but some of them very expensive
An honest bike shop is a rare thing these days, peeps don't mind paying as long as the job was done right 🙂
What's the food like, in particular the cake - Tomboy - you have to try the cake!!! 😋😋
I had cake twice. Lemon and walnut. Both were fresh, homemade and I didn’t regret the calories.
👌

Yes. Lots of people coming in the cars for food and to look at the bikes.
'All the bikes come with a 12mth warranty', so I look for the Bimota YB7 in the clip and find out it has only a 3 mth warranty on the website
Thanks for spotting it. It now shows 12 months warranty as stated.

But only for a short time I worked in a bike shop and I spent way more time working than I did riding, I did ride to work and home.
