Track Layout - The Smiler Alton Towers Episode 1 - Planet Coaster

- Welcome to a new recreation series, The Smiler! Since I released Stealth to the workshop, people have been asking me to build this colossal coaster so now I'm finally doing it. Hex isn't going anywhere, I'm still working on that. The Smiler is the biggest coaster at Alton Towers and features 4 more inverions than any other roller coaster. In this episode I build the entire track layout, trying to get all the shaping of the inversions right and looking good.

The track layout alone must have taken hours, this is nearly NoLimits level accuracy
So odd seeing this as just track and no environment or theming. Looks even messier than usual. Not meaning that as a bad thing. Love this ride.
Smiler is a mess either way.

You forgot to link the channel for distanz also the creation looks great
Edit: When you said about the batwing you can turn of track limits in settings which is how people make wooden coasters with inversions and stuff like that
Track limits was turned off, that function can only do so much.
Also Distanzzz doesn't have a channel anymore.

The soundtrack hasn't been edited, I featured my favourite bit of the track which is about 28 minutes into the loop.

How did you do the vertical lift? The LSM motors aren't strong enough to pull a train up them vertically.
Where did you get the soundtrack from. Is there a youtube video as this has variations of the original version

When planet coaster comes out on PS4 I’m gonna try copy this and do it. Problem is it’s so fast so I can’t see what some of the angles are.
I get why there aren’t many how to builds but even if it was 10 hours long I wish there was one.
