    I disagree, it's so tough to play basketball at a higher level, and he's just teaching those kids how hard it is to make it to the NBA, so instead of sugar coating, he taught them how difficult it is. Teaching them how the real world works. He did the right thing 100%

    What's ur point, so if u go play ball at a gym or on the street and ur a young guy and you go play against older guys are they suppose to coddle you and make sure no one says mean things to u?? They prolly chopped it up before and after but once u step foot on the court to compete, thts all out the window, wht do you think theyd say if they dunked on or crossed over John Wall, and wasn't tht kid talkn trash?

  • @KiDSwade
    @KiDSwade 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm not criticizing his play... His ATTITUDE he displays, like smacking the ball back hard and walking out. Look at the end, that kid was young. It was probably already nerve racking from playing with a PG from the NBA.

    actually, my teammate in highschool was ranked #56 in the nation during our senior year. but most of the athletes in that top 100 list he was in are currently not recognizable and hence, not worth mentioning. besides, these high school athletes are chosen more for their potential than skills, so it's not too much of a stretch calling them scrubs. maybe one or two of them will prove me wrong 10 years later...

  • @baller128769
    @baller128769 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    John Callipari touted John Wall to be a better player and athlete than Derrick Rose through the high school and college levels. I think he still does, hence why he goes out of his way to watch and talk to John as both a friend and a coach. Wall has a big opportunity in the NBA this year for the first time in his young career. I hope he grasps it and develops his game to an All Star level which is where he belongs. One day I believe he will be the best PG in the league. Good luck John!

    To be honest you guys are overreacting if you play ball rec or in a league it dont matter the age if someone is talking shit when u shoot a jumper and or saying they can guard you why not embarrass them for talking shit like even tho theyre younger ,older dont mean shit these are kids who have been balling since they were in pampers they know what theyre doing and they are just talking shit to get a better game out john and when u watch nba games they talk hella shit and swear and get turned up allthe time

    Bottom line is no HS player can really guard an NBA player, im not talking bout OLD NBA players, im talking about guys who put up numbers and still can play, NBA players are on 10 different levels.

    i think it's disrespectful to go up to an nba player and challenge him to a game. it's his profession and he takes pride in what he does, and this kid is acting like he's already better than him. competitive nature and confidence is what i call it. don't disrespect a professional to their face.

    Not everyone is meant to play basketball professionally or go pro. By him playing hard against them or talking to them honestly they can find out if they have what it takes. If he destroys one of them in a game maybe that person will be be down but they might then work a lot harder so that no one can do that to them again. It may save some of the kids lives by finding out they don't have what it takes. They may study a little harder to find out what they are meant to do in life besides play ball

    Kyrie came in more developed offensively, but Wall is the better athlete. If Wall has significantly improved his jumper he'll be better. He's the better defender, but kyrie's one of the best shooters and he's clutch. I really hope Wall steps it up this season, I heard he got a shooting coach that Westbrook, Rose, and Love had.
