He learned this song by listening to a recording by Celine Dion Andrea Bocelli. His performance, considering that he requires a translator to carry on a conversation in English even though he understands it well but has trouble speaking it, is gorgeous. His native language is Philipino Tagalog, and he has no formal training. The recording engineer was teasing him about his female voice. That's why he spit her out at the end. Notice his big grin after doing that. He is singing now in English, Italian, Spanish and Chinese but he does not speak those languages. Possibility even more by now. He grew up on the streets from age 7 or 8. On September 21, 2014, Pomoy married Joan Paraiso of Calauag, Quezon, and they have one daughter, Marcella Janiah.
