    amazing vid! Funnily enough, I had a similar issue where I would make my inital flick very quick so my microadjustment had a lot of tension and it looked like when I was making my micro correction that the cursor would bounce. Going slower and focusing more on the underflicking/straight line ideas helped me improve a lot more while having no tension

      bare in mind also there might be a slight element of hardware diff involved here as well. While it's obviously mostly a case of technique, skill and a lot of practice, you'd be surprised just how much more seamless and natural certain scenarios come to you (like target switching/tracking) once you mindfully optimise your hardware. definitely do your research before dumping any money into these peripherals however.

    Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. The hardest thing to do is really to relax when doing aim training and be smooth. That's the only thing i'm holding in my head when playing.

    • @keithbrownjr857
      @keithbrownjr857 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      i dont understand it 100% clearly so are you just supposed to aim with little to no tension when aiming and tracking can you help me out?

    • @Alex-fh4my
      @Alex-fh4my 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@keithbrownjr857 Generally, in order to make fast flicks or large adjustments, that requires a lot of tension. The faster you try to flick, the more tension that requires (most especially in the landing of the movement). The problem with that is once you do land, and you want to make the microadjustment / continue to track the target - the more tension you have, the harder it is to make either precise or smooth movements. Think of it this way - try to write as neatly as possible while gripping a pen as hard as you can, with as much tension as possible throughout your entire fingers, hand, and arm. You'll find that you can't make smooth and precise movements.
      To answer your question - you need tension to make fast movements. The faster the movement - the more tension. However, the more tension, the less you are able to make smooth and precise movements. Since you need to make BOTH fast and smooth/precise movements, you need to manage your tension such that you get the best of both worlds. If you try to aim with as little tension as possible, you will be slow as fuck and will have awful static / target switching ability. You'll need to practice and figure out how to manage the level of tension throughout different kinds of movements

    • @Zaleks
      @Zaleks 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@keithbrownjr857 The consensus rn (could change in the future) is that tracking should be done with minimum tension possible. In general, it is best to have a low tension in your arm/wrist/finger when aiming. But for fast movement like flicks you need this tension. So you start the movement with a spike of tension to move the mouse fast, and release the tension as you reach the target to be able to micro correct (which doesn't need tension, you don't need speed but accuracy) on the target.
      Hope it helps

      @@keithbrownjr857 to add on his discovery was also that when its a short distance between targets that you should do them with no tension from start to end where as medium to large distance flicks should be done with the Bard0z method which is high tension at start slow micro correction at end

    I'm loosing my mind over this debate. It's been a month and it seems this debate is second to High-Sens vs Low-Sens debate.
    *Will these questions ever find the answer? Or are we going to correct ourselves again in cycles?*
    1) Flick -> Time it correctly while flicking - > Shoot
    2) Flick -> Micro adjust -> Shoot
    3) Precise 1st-flick movement -> Shoot at first-contact
    4) Precise 1st-flick -> Micro adjust -> Shoot when sure
    I think the question is when to do concentrated motion vs blind motion, and at which steps. 🤔
    I like your approach of doing according to different situations. Like Precise Motion when holding an angle, as the opponent who's checking need to gather the data and you would use that as an advantage to get 100% accurate shot.
    On mid-long ranges, flicking and then taking time to micro adjust. (As it's long distance and targets are moving, can't risk with blind flicks).
    I think that clip with 1HP also enlightens that you MIGHT end up in the position where you have to depend on your 1st flick accuracy. This means we cannot deny 1st-flick-shot practice, even when these also end up developing bad habits.
    Meanwhile, I'll cope with my 60hz monitor and put the blame on it.

    what's funny about your discovery (flick fast and hard for big movements, but slower and more relaxed flicks for shorter movements) is that we will do that naturally/unconsciously when we play the game (CS/Valorant) a lot. However, no one would ever hit a high 190K/200K+ score in Sixshot like you have without consciously discovering/breaking down the technique and then consciously maximizing its technical execution, so fuck yeah, and ty for finding it and sharing it with us

    You made me rethink my whole aiming method, I’m used to high sens in general and playing which with time I went I to “medium” sens (old bad habit on game that don’t require precision but more raw prefire and flicks)
    I aim with wrist 80% of any movement and will try to master more arm movement

    • @Assassunn
      @Assassunn 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Arm movement is so inaccurate and slow tho compared to wrist

    • @z44k.
      @z44k. 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Assassunn True but look at him going so precise and fast, arm flick>wrist microajust>shoot this is insane for long distance flicks without overflicking or having too high of a sens to micro adjust

    • @Assassunn
      @Assassunn 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@z44k. yes this is what I do, arm flick with lot of tension then micro adjust with wrist (800 dpi 0.22 valo) but except for turns, 0.22 still allows me to flick directly with the wrist when it's horizontal. The other issue with arm is that you need to reset your aim more often and it's more shaky/slower :/
      I ordered a mousepad with high stopping power, I'm considering to try out a 0.34 sens, this is what most pro use and the high stopping power should help this micro adjustments.
      I don't like my sens with my very glidy mousepad because it requires A LOT of tension management to be able to not overflick too much or/and just do two flicks (no shaky crosshair). Like high tension to be quick, then release immediately before the micro adjustment is HARD to do consistently.

    • @z44k.
      @z44k. 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Assassunn 0.34 is kinda « high » forsaken type of sens but it’s still playable even try like 0.275 just toy around until you find something that doesn’t tire you and make you feel comfy then go for wide walls scenarios to force the microadjusts

    • @Assassunn
      @Assassunn 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@z44k. thank you, I received my new mousepad it has quite a lot of stopping power and I went 0.32. This is quite impressive tbh I aim with the wrist locked and many times it goes straight onto the target but when it doesn't the micro adjustment is kinda hard not because of the high sens but because it feels like my mouse is stucked. On a glidy mousepad it was quite easy to micro adjust because it would kick instantly and I would use click timing. Now it's much more about muscle memory to get the right first impulse with the right angle than mouse control and click timing I was relying so much on glidy pad.
      Getting used to a new sens even from 0.22 to 0.32 is quick, but to a new type of mousepad this feels like it'll take a month of labour.

    I would argue that overflicks are better than underflicks since stopping and starting a movement in the same direction takes more effort than changing directions. There’s an osu mapping video that went in depth of mapping theory and they found that star flicks were much easier than flicks going in the same direction.

    There's an 8yr old video from nOthing(CS) where he brings up something similar when teaching aim theory/tech. A close range flick with the wrist for close shots (arm or wrist planted) and a wide angle flick using the arm with a wrist microcorrection.

      @MINIGOD1337  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I remember this video! He was mainly talking about how our wrist is more accustomed for micro-corrections and why it's worth using it's entire range of motion to maximize our precision at these micro heavy angles while also mentioning that leaving up usage of our arm might cost us speed & ability to perform less comfortable flicks

      The idea is Simple. If you are more of an new/intermediate aim trainer then focus on having fast initial flicks and taking time with micros till you reach good level with that. Then try fine tuning this technique based on situations that you are present with, as you won't need to do crazy fast flicks at short distances which are harder to control, so ideally you would do slower flick to preserve clarity od the target and ability to micro

    I'm a wrist aimer with 0.335 800dpi in Valorant (EPDI: 268 - sorry I don't know the 360/cm measures). I started to use Kovaak's and AimLabs a lot more and I realised that I have problems with flicking from longer distances where I have to use my arm + hover with my mouse in order to get the shot. Now I'm thinking about increasing my sens, else I have to get used to arm movement adjustments. Any tips here?

  • @Deadmeatsz
    @Deadmeatsz 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    it is one thing to flick on predictable/static/slow moving targets like most modern shooters have. Now try to flick on targets that are uncooperativley dodging the right amount to constantly force you to readjust with very fast movement. 🙂

    can you make a guide on how to underflick? Im new so i've been trying to underflick but I've run into some issues as it is not instict when i try to flick hard to then smoothly adjust by nature I tend to overflick and I can't underflick, If i try it slower I'm confused by when to underflick like as soon as I reach the target or like before to do adjust. I saw bardoz sometimes in the aimbots challenge under flick like stop and then under flick and other times like as soon as he is on the target. Thank you (:

      Overflicking is better. Dont stress too much on getting under or overflicks tho. Youll never 100% get them and its just best to get as close as possible with the first flick , and be good at micro’ing both over and underflicks

    idk if you'll see this comment but I've noticed my aim is more consistent because i'm not stressed and anxious and I hold my mouse differently. In game, i tend to hold my mouse tight which causes some shakiness and I can't really microadjust. But when it comes to aim training I dont face this problem. I think there is a lot more benefit from gripping my mouse in terms of speed and comfortability, if I try to aim in game like I do in aim trainers I feel like a snail idk how to explain. Would you recommend aim training while gripping my mouse and aiming like I do in game, or vise versa and try to aim in game like how i aim in aim trainers?

    • @MINIGOD1337
      @MINIGOD1337  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Taking the technique aspect away. I believe the best that you could do is just doing some aim training under pressure as in with scenarios that are forcing this anxious feeling that you might have inside of the game. Scenarios like VT Pulseshot Six, VCT NA - Tenz might serve as a great opener to enhance your training and make it more effective.

    But why do you insist on underflicking with the initial flick why not overflick because to me i dont think it makes any difference and why would we need to choose either of them and do only that why not just simple explosive initial flick and wherever that lands just micro adjusting using our fingers?

    • @MINIGOD1337
      @MINIGOD1337  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      overflick adds total distance to your flick that is not needed at all (im pretty sure ive included some examples in the middle of vid) Ideally flicking right onto a target would be the play but since we are not robots, it's better to pick approach that is better on paper aka one that decreases the amount of motions so the flick ends in the same traversal allowing us to keep the momentum + underaiming even while tracking is more beneficial since you deal more damage between direction changes in opposition to flicking harshly and overflicking when target might strafe instantly right after your overflick making you deal no dmg. It's hard to explain this without proper examples. Edit: 3:20 in video showcases what I mean with flicks

    • @CommandoBlack123
      @CommandoBlack123 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MINIGOD1337Dont look at it as distance, look at it as effort. When underflicking you need to make 3 direction adjustments. For a target to your right its going to be ‘initial flick right, slow down left, adjust right’. This is 3 direction changes. When overflicking its only 2 direction adjustments. Same target ‘initial flick right, slow down left, adjust left. Since you are already putting effort into moving your mouse left when stopping the mouse it will take much less effort to overflick. The amount of effort changes based on how heavy your mouse is. An exaggerated scenario to lab this theory would be to apply finger weights to feel the kinetic energy in your aim more than usual.

  • @andrewcalcetas5911
    @andrewcalcetas5911 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    For the initial flick should it always be using your arm? I find myself doing both the initial flick and the micro correction with my wrist for horizontal targets. Is it worth for me to change this to strictly arm > wrist? I. I score 120k~ on six shot Great video btw.

    • @MINIGOD1337
      @MINIGOD1337  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ideally medium-wide flicks with a fast arm movement and slow micro with wrist. But shorter distances you can use only wrist but keep track of how tense you are while performing these motions to make them a bit more consistent

    • @xRealUzz
      @xRealUzz 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      and by the way most apex pros play between 25 and 50 cm which is mid sens! low sens is anything above 50 and high is anything lower than 25

    • @MINIGOD1337
      @MINIGOD1337  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Higher sens = higher skill ceiling and more versitality which allows you to easily rely on fingers/wrist and arm while aiming. You can be as precise as you would with lower sensitivity as well with a difference that you have more range of motion available and possibly could be faster with good mouse control. However if you dont train or play a lot of games you would most likely optimize your sens for comfort/consistency hence why majority of players use lower sens as its easier to control and they don't need as much training or playtime to be relatively consistent

    No way... I've been unconsciously doing this ever since I hit voltaic diamond as it seems like the only way I can [effectively] push my speed. I'm halfway between jade and master now. I just get way too tense and can't release it in a reasonable amount of time otherwise. I thought I was going insane, only approaching or breaking my static scores by "slowing down". lol
