I would've called you out for ignoring the rookies' potential if they weren't thrown into the meat grinder... ...But then I remembered all my flight sim experience suggesting that even an untrained elementary schooler could fly those planes above 5,000 ft if they really needed to.
@@Eboreg2 yeah, it always made me roll my eyes that they can't somehow figure out how to climb. It's just literally, pull the stick back until you're roughly heading straight up, even a 45 degree angle will be fine, and crank the throttle/afterburner to max. Even if you can't read your HUD, just find Blaze, who's trying to set world records for fastest stratosphere entry, and fly rapidly in his direction
If you're sharp enough then you can actually see the burst missile come down and... uh... burst into multiple war heads. So you can use that as a visual que to zoom climb.

I use the Falken's laser weapon and i destroy it in less than 2 minutes lol
I got lucky with RCL and pounded it in a few close range volleys once, quickly wiping out most of it's defenses.

when i play this mission, sometimes the audio cuts out and i cant hear the countdown, so it makes it extra hard.
