Still, if only BJB had taken the tackle on his break (was only 2nd tackle) leeds would likely have scored within the next few plays and levelled or gone in front. The officials certainly didn't do leeds any favours but if you give the opposition a 16 point start in the first 25 minutes of a cup final, you are asking for trouble.
Probably the worst big game performance by a ref (for both sides) I can remember. Some real poor decisions throughout the game, which tended to lead to tries.
